Had the best experience while purchasing a rifle today at Praco Gun and Pawn. Sean was very helpful, and so were all the other staff members there while I browsed through their large variety of choices. I bought a brand-new Springfield Armory Saint Victor, and I'm very happy to say that, due to their kindness and helpfulness, I will continue to do my purchases from there. Lastly, before I forget, Sean was also kind enough to give me a call after I left the shop to notify me about a promotion he had stumbled across. This place is awesome. Very friendly staff that will help you find the right gun for you. It's a little strange I suppose, the name is Praco GUN and pawn. The gun comes before the pawn so I imagined that they dealt with guns mostly. I think I was right. To say my experience was terrible would be an understatement. I went in to pawn a smart watch & wasn't greeted as I walked in I had to greet the 2 guys working at the counter talking to each other. Once I showed him what I had he said it doesn't look like something they take. As he OPENED the box he smirked "Yeah usually we only take Rolexes."(Obviously being a smartass), then he said "Yeah & it's not even open." He put the box back together & said "Yeah we can't take it" as he pushed the box over to me without making eye contact as he continued to talk to his coworker. The place is nice on the outside & disgusting inside similar to their business-in-front, party-in-back clientele they seem to cater to. Perfect place for the toothless NRA types otherwise I wouldn't bother. read more

Their prices are Really Really High and they don't negotiate but they do have lay a way. Also they don't do any type of repairs to guns and they wont sell ammo for rifles unless you purchase a gun from them right then. read more

Business is FFL licensed, I shipped a shotgun from NC to TX for my nephew. Upon shipment, they informed my nephew that they would have to hold it for 21 days and that it would cost $100.00. Well I buy and ship several shotguns and the cost is $25.00 to transfer. I called another FFL licensed business in Waco, TX when I found this out and they found this ridiculous. They suggested I have it transferred to them. When I called them to do this they stated it would cost $100.00, then I suggested mailing it back to me for I already knew how much that cost, but they would only do it for $100.00. So to make a long story short, they were going to make $100.00 regardless. This is a ripoff place....DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM....they will take your money! read more
