These qualities are so hard to find in one dentist, and I honestly saw a string of not-so-great dentists before seeing her. This makes me appreciate her even more! He spent several minutes using my phone to post reviews about his practice on multiple platforms. In my opinion, patients should never be asked to write reviews while the provider is standing over them, and a provider should never take control of a patient's personal device to post reviews on the patient's behalf. I also referred a friend to the practice. She later told me that while she was undergoing a procedure, reviews were posted from her accounts without her knowledge. Phone was used without her consent, My experience left me feeling that my privacy and autonomy were not respected. She told me that I was late for the appointment, I reminded her that I had called and asked, and she had said to come ahead. She said that she told me 15 minutes not 20 and that they wouldn't take me. I insisted that she check with the dentist and she said it wasn't necessary and that they couldn't see me. I wasted time off of work and drive across town to go to the dentist only to be turned away after I had confirmed the appointment and called in advance to ask if they wanted me to reschedule. I tried to respect their time, but they had zero respect for mine. This pisses me off so much I can't even tell you. I recently had a root canal done at another office who referred me to Dr. Park for follow up and I'm so grateful that they did. Aside from the root canal follow up, I knew I had two teeth in the back that I was convinced would need to be extracted because they had such large, deep cavities. Dr Park not only prevented them from being extracted, but was able to fill them in office and save them entirely. He is so kind and gentile, walks me through everything he's doing, and answers the firehose of questions I throw his way effortlessly. His reception staff are also outstanding and have been able to get me in for follow up appointments quickly. While I don't think I'll ever "enjoy" going to the dentist, I couldn't ask for a better experience than with Dr. Park. Can't recommend him enough!

Dr. Park was honest when I came in for a second opinion and assured me that that number of fillings was not necessary and only filled the cavities that needed them. Additionally, Dr. Park has excellent bedside manner and is very gentle when doing dental work. I was very comfortable during the fillings I did have done (didn't even feel it--and i've had many painful dental experiences as a kid) and he makes sure to keep you in the loop during the process so you're not taken by surprise by anything (during regular cleanings too). He is very transparent about things that you may need to keep a close eye on and provides helpful suggestions for what you can do to prevent issues from getting further. Overall, if you're looking for a dentist to go to in the DMV area I definitely recommend the Parks!
