I told same lady I needed cancel and I also had to deploy out state for work as soon as I felt like it... she said when you called you were having kidney issues . Wanted to know if I could come today and I told her I didn't feel like driving .. she said that it wasn't nice or something to that affect and that what they charge $89 fee so people keep appts.. I told her I didn't know when Inwoukd be able to get back in due to work we never know how long we will be on deployment I ask if she could refund $89 as it was not day before nor just not a no show she said she couldn't refund the $89 .. today $89 is a lot $ and they didn't care I honestly had every intention to reschedule when I get back from deployment ... but I will not due to how she was persistent .... After consulting with a number of specialists, the consensus was clear. Dr. Puterman is the best at what he does in the DMV--and my particular case (don't ask) required the best. I confess, I was skeptical. But a little more than half a decade (and several surgeries later (don't ask), I have a functional mouth again. Not only teeth that work but teeth that look great. Best of all, the pain that tormented me for decades is gone. GONE. Obliterated. Throughout this ordeal, Dr. Puterman stuck by me. And I by him and his extraordinary staff and colleagues. Dr. Puterman was always honest. Always fair. Always honorable. Always kind. And always decent. This is not what I would have expected given the intrinsic challenges of my case and the fickle nature of human biology that doesn't always cooperate with titanium and bone grafts. And yet--here I am--finally some five plus years later. Grateful beyond words for my experience with Dr. Puterman. Don't get me wrong. I won't miss being in his chair for scores of additional hours. I'm a grateful patient. And what makes me especially grateful is that we made it--together. If you desire the best that modern dentistry has to offer, there is no one better--more capable, skillful, and honorable. I could not recommend anyone more highly. Puterman is the best.

I had a panic attack during an IV sedation appointment with Dr. Puterman. Dr. Puterman was unable…read moreto sedate me (which I get, that happens sometimes). However, he didn't stop. He continued to work on me through my panic attack, and never even reached out to my husband who was in the waiting room. I couldn't speak due to the dental dam, bite block and all the instruments in my mouth, so I just lay there, hyperventilating with tears streaming down my face. I was severely traumatized. Weeks later, when I approached Dr. Puterman about the trauma, he dismissed my concerns, gaslighting me by questioning the validity of my experience. He even went on to tell me that his family member's panic attacks did not present in that fashion so I must not have been having one. He called me by the wrong name, patronized me, and completely disregarded my concerns about my very disturbing experience. To make matters worse, he went as far as involving my father (a retired sedation dentist who administered the exam to Dr. Puterman for his IV sedation license) to dispute my account. He tried to get my father to agree that I wasn't having a panic attack and that he didn't do anything wrong (News flash - My dad is well aware of my history and conducted all my dental treatment up until his retirement. He didn't agree). If you seek compassionate care, and especially if you are tough to sedate or have anxiety, I would advise considering alternative dentists who prioritize patient well-being over financial interests. There are many other very accomplished dentists out there who treat the whole person and don't just see dollar signs.

He told my relative they needed a tooth pulled and a few cavities filled right away! This is my relative who I care about so I decided to visit him to judge if he was a nice and honest dentist. I was surprised he told him my relative needed a tooth pulled/ multiple cavities filled. But thought I'd visit him to test him out for my relative. Well, he told me I had about 6 cavities that needed filled right away!. The week before I just visited my dentist who said I had no cavities except one small one we needed to remineralize cause it was small so no need to fix it yet. I sent my relative to my dentist who said he needed NO tooth pulled! No tooth pulled. The tooth was healthy. But, he only had one cavity needed filled. Years later...... my relative still hasn't need a tooth pulled. I told my relative to never go back there again. What do you call a dentist who tells a patient that needs to get their tooth pulled when they don't? What do you call a dentist who tells a patient they got to have multiple cavities filled right away when they no not need to get except 1? Dentist can get away with a lot of malpractice when the average person doesn't go to other dentist for a second option. To be fair to him.... they are a lot of crooks in this area. He is not special in this at all. Always go to different dentist for a second option or even when they say you need cavities filled.

Although he presented it as assistance, I felt uncomfortable and pressured to comply. He posted reviews without my consent. He spent several minutes using my phone to post reviews about his practice on multiple platforms. In my opinion, patients should never be asked to write reviews while the provider is standing over them, and a provider should never take control of a patient's personal device to post reviews on the patient's behalf. I also referred a friend to the practice. She later told me that while she was undergoing a procedure, reviews were posted from her accounts without her knowledge. Phone was used without her consent, My experience left me feeling that my privacy and autonomy were not respected. Patients should be free to decide whether and when to leave reviews, without pressure or anyone else using their personal devices.

Given…read moreher obvious expertise and her understanding of the issue I was having, I decided to go to her for physical therapy. I had been having chronic pain down both my arms for years, which no PT or OT had ever been able to correctly diagnose or treat. Kerry told me during our first session that my pain should clear up in about two months after our sessions + an at-home strengthening and stretching regimen she provided and added to weekly. I honestly didn't believe that something that had caused me so much pain for so long could be treated so quickly. And sure enough, after about two months of weekly sessions, that shooting pain I had was getting better and eventually went away. Two other things were key: being diligent about performing the at-home exercises that Kerry provided and my continued attention to my posture and habits at my workstation - both of which Kerry reinforced the importance of during our sessions. I really can't say enough good things about Kerry. Besides the fact that she treated my pain, for which I'll be forever grateful, she's a very good listener, treats her patients with respect and is incredibly knowledgeable in her field. Her practice doesn't accept insurance, but the money I spent on my PT sessions was money very well spent given the outcome. Kerry's expertise is worth every penny and more. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Dr. Ginn and everyone else who works with her have always been kind, patient, and thoughtful. I also appreciate how Dr. Ginn grows the careers of those who work with her. This doctor's office is the only one where I feel like everyone remembers who I am (whether I call or come in), which is a testament to Dr. Ginn's leadership and vision for her office. Dr. Ginn listens to her patients well. I was adamant that I didn't want to take oral medication. Later, when I wanted to be off all antibiotics, including topical ones, she found a way to make that work. I am so grateful that I found Dr. Ginn. I have never been one to wear makeup and I get many compliments on my complexion. Three important notes: 1) The products are pricey. Two people I know initially recommended Dr. Ginn to me and their skin was radiant. They told me that Dr. Ginn's methods were more expensive than traditional dermatologists. Still, on my initial visit, I had sticker shock. Dr. Ginn recommended a lot of products to me, which she sells. I told her I would think about it and come back to purchase. I looked online and found that the products were similarly priced so I went back to Dr. Ginn and purchased; I haven't questioned her since. The products are expensive but they last a long time. I think about it like I'm investing in my skin's future, especially now that she's moved me onto a lot of anti-aging concoctions. 2) If you are coming to Dr. Ginn for skin care, as I do, and have trouble following regimens or want to use all of your own products, then Dr. Ginn probably isn't for you. My full regimen takes about five minutes each morning and night, and it involves 7-10 different products. 3) I have always had to wait about 10 minutes for my appointment even when I arrive a few minutes early. If you are prepared to wait and do not have to be somewhere right after your appointment then you will do well with Dr. Ginn. The upside to the waiting is that I have never felt rushed before, during, or after my appointments. The vibe of the office is very relaxing and serene.
