The most amazing bday gift my best friend could have given me was a custom spray by Stephanie. Keep in mind, time from the owner of the shop will run you a little extra but it was the best experience. She truly has it all, from the demeanor, the killer tan to inspire you, the calming presence, the disposable nipple covers or underwear, water, you name it. I've never had a spray tan before but wanted to have a little color for my engagement portraits in March, being naturally super fair skinned... like one or two levels up from the lightest foundation. I was worried about looking fake or orange, but Maria listened to my concerns and formulated the right level of darkness. It can be kind of awkward having someone spray you down while you're nearly in your birthday suit, but Maria was good at not making me feel uncomfortable by chatting with me and telling funny stories. Tips: read the instruction sheet beforehand! Wear your dark loose sweatsuit and expect to not wear a bra on the way home. Plan to shower at whatever time they tell you to that night. I bought the lotion and shower gel they recommended to extend the tan -- it was reasonably priced. Make sure to smell the Hempz lotions beforehand like Maria warned me, because the plain looking one smells like bubblegum unexpectedly, which just wasn't my thing. So I picked a different one. You're not supposed to work out the next day or sweat too much until you really scrub it off, and I was bad and did a gym workout anyways, trying not to sweat the whole time. It didn't mess things up too much. All in all -- 5/5, I definitely recommend; it gave me the touch of color I needed for my portraits! read more

Can not recommend this place enough!!! I saw Megan and I rarely get spray tans and she answered alllll my questions and was so helpful. My tan is FLAWLESS and NOT orange. On top of that I came in with a broken foot and did the whole thing with my boot on and then let me sit and contorted her body to go all around my broken leg. It's funny how many times they make you acknowledge the 5 minute hard out on appointment times (if you arrive 6 minutes late you're out of luck) just to run late on their end, forcing you to sit in the fumes for an extra twenty minutes before they even get started. I can understand if it was a one-time thing with the timing, but I do wonder why they don't open up more windows and purchase more air filters for such a high-end place (by the pricing, at least). While being busy is always a great thing from a business owner's point of view, there are never appointments available here, which makes it incredibly difficult to be a loyal customer. Fast forward to scheduling my appointment today, having it accepted, then receiving the appointment confirmation text message from the business. After rearranging my work meetings to accommodate the appointment, the owner texts me and nonchalantly communicates to me that I shouldn't have been able to make the appointment and that she would be cancelling it. No offer to fit me in somewhere else, on that day, or any other, but she did include the link to their scheduling system so I could schedule another appointment. If your system is broken and you are the issue and not the customer, at LEAST attempt to absorb the labor and show some effort in working to find them a new appointment. Do not pass Go, do not collect any of my money in the future. Update: The owner texted me again, asking me to provide information that would help them fix their booking system issues. I chose the express tan and also a mini contour, let me tell you the contour is a MUST GET! It accentuated 3 of my body parts(butt, collarbone and stomach) I've gotten spray tanned elsewhere but her spray tans lasted longer and got me through 5/6 days!
