This beach bar/restaurant is located across the street from Bessa Beach in Joao Pessoa. I guess you could say it is a "dive bar", complete with a broken-down bus that serves as their kitchen. We came here because it was located next to the bed & breakfast at which we were staying (Pousada Espaço Luz do Sol).
The food is average for a restaurant of this type, serving seafood dishes like fried fish, shrimp stew, French fries and other simple snack food. Their drink menu includes many different beers, as well as several types of caipirinhas, from the classic lime, to passionfruit and several more.
The service is decent--we hardly had to wait to be attended.
The ambiance is pleasant. How could it not be? You sit at a table looking at the tropical beach right in front of you with coconut trees swaying in the wind.
While I wouldn't go out of my way to visit, if I find myself in the area again, I will give them a visit. read more
