We stumbled upon this beach bar/restaurant recently and decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did. The restaurant is attractive for a beach bar; the service was very good and the food was delicious. We had the grilled lobster and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The tropical drinks were also great (we had 2 types of caipirinhas).
The beach right in front of the restaurant is not very good, but the views are still very nice (lots of coconut palms swaying in the breeze and a nice view of the high-rise buildings of the capital dotting the shoreline in the distance like little sugar cubes.
They also have an ample private parking lot (free) and there's also on-street parking available. If only the beach in front of the restaurant was better, this would be a 5-star review. Oh well, you can't have everything. read more
