One of the many lovely Sikh staffed gasoline stations in cozy quiet Southern NJ, the location right at the on ramp to the interstate adds tons of convenience as well as the general sparseness of gas stations in this overall remote region relative to the density of other NJ counties. DO NOT GO TO VALERO -- 1080 RT 206, BORDENTOWN, NJ. I gave Middle Eastern serviceman my credit card. After filling up my tank, he handed me ONLY the receipt (no credit card) and told me to "Have a nice day." I immediately asked him for my credit card... At that point, he stared me in the eye and slowly handed me my credit card with his other hand without saying any words or apology. My friends and I were shocked! They all saw what this man did. THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT THIS MAN WAS KEEPING MY CREDIT CARD IF I DID NOT ASK HIM FOR IT. DISGUSTING CROOKED THIEF. read more

Just as other women have posted, I was harassed at this gas station as well. The older middle eastern man kept winking at me during my time there waiting for my tank to fill up. When it was full, he dangled my card and receipt in front of me not giving it to me until I agreed that I would come back to that gas station. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING ELSEWHERE IF YOU ARE A WOMAN. read more

DRIVERS BEWARE - THIS LOCATION IS FULL OF CROOKS! I stopped here tonight on my way back to Pennsy. I asked for $30 regular - cash. Guy (older middle eastern guy) rudely opens the tank, puts the nozzle in my car and stands there. After about a minute I hear the pump abruptly stop. Now, in PA we pump our own gas and when you set the gauge for a certain amount, like $20, the gas will push into the tank on a fast stream until the gauge his around $19.90...then slows down until you hear it "click click click" the last few pennies worth into the tank. All automated gas tanks are set this way so they don't overfill the car tank. The guy walks up to my window in a huff, I ask "$30"? And he gets all snarky so I hand him $40, he throws a $10 in my window and walks into his little building. I immediately turn the car on, back up and look at the pump. $25.01!! This jerk charges me for $30 but only gives me $25?? He sees me, walks to my car, takes $5 from his wad and throws it into the window and waves me off. WHO DOES THAT? CROOKS! CROOKS DO THIS! AND I can't imagine how many other people he's done it to who were in a rush or unsuspecting. Those $5 bills add up. I'm going to contact the township tomorrow and find out who to make a complaint to. The prices are cheap, but the night employee is extremely creepy. I'd rather pay a bit more not to have a dirty old man mess with a young woman traveling alone at night. In one weekend, I had two disturbing and uncomfortable experiences with him. The first time, he handed me my receipt while still holding my credit card in his other hand, as if he wasn't going to give it back to me. I uncomfortably held my hand out to ask for it back for a very uncomfortable few seconds, and then he said "oh, you need this?" and gave it back. I don't know if it was a joke, but it wasn't funny. Two days later, on my way home I stopped there again and the same employee was there. This time, he took forever counting my change, and then just when I thought he was about to hand me my change, I saw him take a dollar out. He stood there very creepily at my window, staring, while I counted my change. I noticed (shocker) that he had shorted me by a dollar, so I glanced back at the total and then back at him (he was still staring at me right at my window) and then back at the cash he had handed me. It was almost as if he was daring me to ask for the rest of my change. I was so disturbed by this incident, I decided I didn't care enough about the dollar and just wanted to get out of there. I don't know if he thinks he's funny, but I don't find it funny at all- I find it extremely disturbing. When I am traveling alone, I shouldn't have to worry about a gas station employee harassing or messing with me, just because I'm a young woman traveling alone. I will never go there again. read more
