I have been going to RW tire for a long time and they never fail. I have had tires, brakes, oil changes and many other things done here. The great thing about Rw tire is they always keep you informed of the work being done. They will always help you with the correct work to be done. They have never tried to upsell. When my truck was in for service they had quoted me a price and there was an issue so they informed me that it was $8 more. No other garage has ever done that. It was losing air quickly due to two punctures close to the sidewall and I was sure they'd have to replace my tire. I recently acquired a 2005 Honda Accord with 206k miles on the clock, by far the highest mileage car I've ever had. I'll spare you from getting into why life circumstances led me to get a car like this. Hey, "things are tough all over" and any way to get from point "a" to point "b" safely is a what it really comes down to. That's what brought me to RW Tire. They come highly recommended here on Yelp, they've been around a long time, and others here mentioned they won't sell you anything you don't need. This is diametrically opposed to the modus operandi of a "stealership" (and I used to work in the auto business), where a "service advisor" gives you a list of $2k in "recommended services" when you've come in for an oil change and maybe a tire rotation! RW not only met, they exceeded expectations. I told them what the deal was with the car and asked them to look it over for anything needed to keep it going. Aside from an oil change and rotation, they replaced my 2 rear stabilizer bars at a reasonable price and told me at some point down the road, the front will also need to be done. That's it! It was refreshing to walk out feeling confident in the car (well as confident as I can with the age and mileage) and of course, more than confident in working with RW Tire for future maintenance and (hopefully few) repairs. read more

Brought my car into R.W. tire on a Saturday morning after having a flat tire on Friday night coming home from work. Car was driving on the spare so I wanted to get it righted quickly. Arrived at 8:00 AM (opening) and they were slammed. No appointment and I've never been here before (new customer). These guys are fast, professional, and very good at what they do here. Had to replace the tire as I damaged it driving to a safe spot on the roadside. $130 for the new tire and I was on my way in about 90 minutes. I expected to be there for 3-4 hours based on the waiting room. Didn't try to upsell me on a pair of tires and I heard many others get told honestly what they needed and didn't need. This will be as much a testimonial as a review. Driving out of Bordentown the other morning I heard my tire sensor start to beep. Checking my maintenance screen I saw that one of my tires had a sudden and severe pressure drop. Damn! I had picked up a nail. Unfamiliar with the auto shops and gas stations in the area, I was at a loss where to go to do the repair. A minute later I was passing RW Tire on Rt. 206 northbound. Serendipity? I made it into the crowded parking lot and went inside with my lug lock in hand. The man behind the counter finished with a customer and turned to me. I explained the situation. No sweat. They'd get to it in a few minutes. He took down my particulars and I handed over my keys and lug lock. About 15 minutes later I watched as one of their mechanics went out to find my wheels and drive it into the shop. I walked over to watch him work and see what he found. The guy was fast getting the car up, and even faster getting the offending tire off the car. He rolled the tire looking closely for the cause of the flat. He found it in a minute, got his nail extractor, yanked a cotter pin out of the tread and had the hole plugged, sealed and snipped in under 5 minutes. This dude knew his tire repair! Twenty five minutes from pulling in, I was pulling out. Impressive! And, the cost for this service was under $20. I complimented the tire jockey for his excellent work, and after paying the bill, asked the cashier what other work they did. They were so unexpectedly good at fixing my flat tire, they had made me a loyal customer in mere minutes. I was pleased as punch! read more

I was just at RW for a tire rotation the other day and, as always, they were courteous, quick, and reasonably priced. I had a nice conversation with Ron, and realized that it must be over 20 years that I've been going there for tire, brake and suspension work. I would not consider any other place. All my family members use RW and I've recommended it to many friends. When I was there for brake work a few months ago, I realized a friend of mine was also in the waiting area, and we spent quite a while discussing how much we both have appreciated RW's work over the years. Over the years I have bought several sets of tires, brake jobs, tire rotations, strut replacements, and even had leaking brake lines replaced. if I could give zero stars I would. Do not, I repeat DO NOT, take your truck/jeep here if you have off road tires/rims unless you don't care about them getting damaged. RW Tire scratched brand new $2,000 wheels not even 24 hours old. Brought the jeep in for an alignment and was NEVER told that their machine could possibly damage the wheels. They proceeded with the alignment and damaged all 4 wheels on my Jeep. Scratches, chips and scuffs all over the wheels. Confronted the store and spoke with owner's son (?), Don Jr. His response? "Not my fault". Most unprofessional and rude person I've dealt with in a long time. Will never, ever do business here again and will tell everyone I know to not use them. Admitted his machines damaged the wheels but wasn't willing to do anything about it. Said too bad and walked away. Stopped at Mavis in Cream Ridge, NJ with a flat because it was late. Told me they couldn't fix the flat (never took it off the rim) and I needed a new tire and the tires I had were discontinued. Didn't sound right. Went to RW (my usual stop) and they patched the tire in 20 minutes and stowed the spare under the car. Also told me if need be the tire was available (not discontinued). Another great visit to RW Tire. Had my tires rotated, brakes and discs done, and anti-sway bar bushings replaced. They told me to make an appointment for the front end work since it was a busy Saturday morning. Made the appointment and walked out to my car. I realized I left my spare key on the counter. I took my car in last week to get new tires. When they finished, I walked around my vehicle to see every single wheel scratched. Not just a little scrape, scraped down to metal. On every single wheel. I went back inside and told them what happened and when they came out to look at the car with me they said "oh that's just what happens" and I got told "it's not hurting anything" when has exposed metal on a vehicle ever been ok? Let alone when is it ok to scratch every wheel on a car. Well after a second trip back our wheels are back to how they should be, it was just a headache of a process and I will not be going back or recommending them to anyone. read more

If you got large tires (had 35's) give them a call and see what's available as far as scheduling goes. I still got in on a Friday with about 6 people waiting when I got in. Took about an hour and a half maybe for them to mount and balance and remove an old valve stem on one tire. The truck looked like a truck again. I don't know if they charged me for the valve stem replacement but for all that was done, the price was fair to me. Little less than expected actually. Tires were in pretty bad shape and made my ride uncomfortable. Not sure why but I did have tape on the rear tire just so dirt and dust didn't get in there. I guess they took it off so they could replace the stem, so it was a bit of a surprise but it doesn't affect anything. With my new mud tires, the ride feels virtually smooth again. Thank you R.W.
