Our Greyhound has stayed with Neville and his staff many times. She is always happy to go there and is well and happy when we pick her up. I think the biggest thing is that she always gets excited to see Neville - this says a lot. The staff are very accommodating with additional dietary requirements. Our dog gets along with other dogs and is able to socialise there. Heated in winter and airconditioned in summer. We can take all her bedding, toys etc. Highly recommended. read more

Neville and his team have looked after my special needs dog ( acute anxiety) very well. I feel I stress out more than Nancy when I take her. I know that she is well cared for and safe. the kennels are clean and plenty of yard to exercise in. read more

Zero stars. My dog was seriously injured on day 1 of her boarding experience at this kennel, I was not even notified or contacted until 3 days later when i phoned to see how my dogs were doing. The team at this kennel advised me they could cater for my dogs needs (she has serious separation anxiety and is known to jump fences). I was told this was not an issue and a staff member would be with her in the yard at all times - as they are in the yard when dogs are out there for safety reasons (eg if a fight breaks out) This was false. On pickup there were multiple dogs in the yard - and not one staff member with the dogs - I was told there were over 50 dogs and its impossible to supervise them all while they are outside. (except this was not what i was told during my first phone call, during my tour of the facility or during drop off of my pets) I was told my dog was taken to a vet and that she has a very bad wound and has sutures in but will need to go back to the vet when i collect her (the next night) she could barely walk i was told. I was furious i wasnt contacted as i had made it clear i wanted to be contacted if there was ANYTHING out of the ordinary. I was hit with an almost 200$ bill from the facility which i refused to pay as it was due to their deception - stating they had the facilities to be with my dog if she was outside - This was the entire reason we chose this kennel over another that we viewed. Upon collecting my dog the vet bill was torn up infront of me and stated dont bother paying it when i requested insurance details to contact them. I couldnt see any sutures in her foot which two ours later our regular vet confirmed there were none in there. My dog is now in theatre and they will try and suture her back up - because it has been almost a week they are not sure if they can and she may lose an entire pad off her foot. This will mean she may never walk the same again and may have ongoing issues from it. I have contacted the pet 'resort' with all paperwork from the vets and they have said its not their responsibility now. Surgery at this stage is costing approx $1100 providing nothing goes wrong, this week alone i have spent over $200 in wound management due to the wound being so dry and needing to rehydrate it and keep it clean. I then found out the day after i picked my dog up from the vet this 'resort' took her to that they had gone AGAINST the vets advice and declined the vets recommended treatment of suturing it on the spot - this would mean she would now be okay, the pad would have healed nicely, instead now it will not because it has been left so long. The resort has said they never went against the vets advice and the vet told them not to suture it - however i have the vets report from the day and have spoken to the vet hospital which confirms the report is correct. Report is attached for anyone who wishes to see. None of this is malicious or defamation - i have evidence for everything stated and more to back up this review. I also did not receive my dogs bed back from the resort. I have contact them and asked why i was not contacted when the incident occurred, why i was not contacted when the vet made his recommendations and why it took for me to call to even find out about the incident - i have asked over multiple emails for this answer and also for insurance details which they have refused to provide. Their way of dealing with it is ' i shall not be responding to any further correspondence from you' The way this entire ordeal has been handled is disgusting, the fact this injured animal has been left for days without proper medical assistance is a disgrace and the fact i wasnt even contacted at any stage - i dont even have words for this. I urge you - do not send your pets to this 'resort' it is not the kind of 'resort' you or i would want to go to! *edit - I cannot upload the report here, but it will be uploaded on the facebook review* read more
