Nothing more frustrating then having to burn diesel to get propane. I also found it impossible to get any decent advice on where I could get a refill. Not an exchange...a refill. Found a local named Mudhole on the job site from the area who told me about this little hidden gem. Killians Service Center. Not far from where I was staying and a route that involves absolutely no traffic. The guys that I dealt with were fast and friendly with the propane service and always willing to jump right on it when I came in. I hope this review helps another person on the lookout for propane. It was a confusing time because one car in the lot not paying attention had dented another and the police were taking statements and gathering information. Made it a bit more chaotic but did not disrupt my getting gas and bottle water for inside the store. Gas of course is self serve and at fairly good price compared to Charlotte. When I went in, the restroom were nice and clean and looked like they had just been cleaned. Picked up my bottled water and checked out with very friendly staff. Overall, a good experience although with the fender bender and having to navigate around it, it did make for a different experience.

The gas pump area was tidy with no trash. Inside the store, shelves were stocked and I had no problem finding the ATM on the Allpoint network that is free for me.
