Salumeria Garibaldi is a legit gastronomic spot respected locally and it deserves all the praise it gets. Very simple interior, in addition to selling cured meats and cheeses, they also offer a delightful array of take-away dishes that look really awesome. Think fresh pasta, brodo and the like.
We grabbed parmigiana, aged around 36 months, which is phenomenal. Best paired with balsamic from Modena (the good stuff mind you), it's creamy and brittle in all of the right places, with chunks of salt imbedded in its glory. I really recommend this on your next trip to Parma, remember quality costs!
