We stayed in the villa which had perfect wifi, nice bedroom sizes (bed kinda felt like a cot though) and a kitchen with cookware/utensils/wine glasses etc. We had dinner here one night where I had my favorite gnocchi of the whole trip (melts in your mouth) and their breakfast spread was really delicious with cheese, meats, and the freshest juiciest tomatoes I've ever had. Besides all of these wonderful features, the price was also unbeatable. Unfortunately, we weren't prepared for the curvy roads and we had rented a huge SUV (Italy is not made for big cars!!), so that made our stay more stressful than it had to be because I feared anytime we had to drive / leave the premises for the winery, dinner etc. The staff was unbelievably generous and understanding when we adjusted our plans to only stay 2 rather than 4 nights, and we could not be more grateful. We were sad to leave because the villa was the perfect size for our group of 5, and the hotel was perfect besides the distance from our plans / roads. I'd recommend staying here if you are looking to relax and stay on premises for most of the weekend; it has a very quiet, homey bed+breakfast feel that we loved.

Very windy, blind turns and narrow. Oh and the locals drive quickly. Because of our fears of having a head on collision we left the hotel earlier than expected. The owners/managers were very accommodating to the unexpected change. They handled the situation perfectly. The hotel its self was everything I would of wanted in a Tuscany stay. The most beautiful views, great food and very nice room. We stayed in the villa in the back of the building. 2 floors, with 3 potential beds, it was really nice and comfortable. The pool area was very clean, very pretty and a nice size pool. The restaurant at the hotel was one of our favorite meals we had. Limited selection of food but a changing menu (daily), they want you to order ahead of time, and they have 3 course or 4 course option. We were not that hungry and only ordered 2-3 courses per person and they adjusted the price accordingly. Another amazing job by management. If you are brave enough for the roads and don't mind driving 1 hr + to any of the highlights of Tuscany this hotel is more than a treat.

This is another property many have a difficult time finding due to it being a new property and off of a dirt road and up a hill. A kind local Italian gent steered us in the correct direction. We had a very relaxing stay at this property. We took day trips to Florence and Sienna from this location. Built March 2019, this property once a private residence is now modern luxury resort in Tuscany. The rooms are brand new and spacious, we had a suite with dining and living room. We had a whirlpool hot tub in our room but never got the chance to use it, used the pool instead. The pool and outdoor dining spaces were thoroughly enjoyed. There are mosquitoes on the property as in much of Tuscany region, they have bug spray if you need it, and a plug in electric bug repellent. We noticed many got good rates, ours was higher due to booking last minute and also requesting a suite. Parking and Breakfast are included. Both nights we chose to dine at the property which is not inexpensive. One night was stellar, the other just so so. Breakfast was adequate, the scrambled eggs were too rich, I think they were made with heavy cream, the granola and jams were outstanding.

Lots of stains and burn marks on the carpet for a non smoking room. The walls are scuffed up as well. Upon using the bathroom I noticed ants on the floor. Of course that heightens your senses because who wants to stay with ants? But being it was an extremely late check in I cleaned up and retired to bed. Upon waking in the morning there was ants on the nightstand beside the bed. I got up and found them crawling on the coffee maker in the room, the desk and chair. I immediately checked around the room and found them streaming in from the bifold doors to the patio. There was too many to kill to stop them. I took my shower and tried to call the front desk but the room phone was not working. While sitting on the bed I found an ant in the bed that I just slept I. I got dressed and went to the front desk to report the problem. The front desk apologized for the inconvenience it would send someone to spray the room. I asked if I could please be moved and told no they are full but the spraying would work. I explained that I don't feel comfortable in the room anymore due to ants being everywhere in the room. Also I would be gone all day and don't feel comfortable leaving my belongings in there while ants are everywhere. I assume the young lady who came over to point at the screen was a manager and the tune changed and they would freshen a new room when someone checked out and they would move my stuff then. So I returned to collect my belongings and hopefully my new room will be big free.

Room was beautiful very remote location and spa was great. My negatives were we called and specifically asked if any amenities were closed when we stayed and we're told no. However we got there no wineries open, no olive oil tastings open and literally everything else on site was closed expect spa and restaurants. Advise would be to update website in real time with what's closed and opened. When your that far out in the Italian country side there is nothing else around to go do if not near resort. When we talked to front desk about it they said because everything in the area closes for two week period for holiday. Then please put that on website so guests know in advance.
