I have mixed opinions about my experience with Carroll's Exterior Remodeling. In my case, they…read morewere great to work with when they were trying to get my business, but after they did, they fell into the stereotype of all the bad stories that you hear about roofers. They actually worked with my insurance company and were able to get a lot of the work covered under my homeowners policy. The crew showed up and finished everything in 2 days, and the roof looks great. The sales guy for the company informed me that because of the type of shingles they installed, they would contact my insurance agent and I would get a 20% discount on my homeowners insurance. That never happened. I confirmed with my insurance agent that there is a small discount, depending on the type of shingles used, but it's not 20%. He also told me that there was a class action suit for the type of shingles that they removed from my house and that he would get me a $1,500.00 payment from that class action suit. That never happened, and I suspect that there never was any class action suit to begin with. Every time I would call him, he would come up with some excuse for not submitting the form to the insurance company and the class action payment not being sent. I called the company to complain about the sales guy's actions, and they said they would look into it and get right back to me. That never happened. 6 months later, I've finally given up. Would I recommend this company? Probably not.

Due to a recent hailstorm, we needed to have our roof replaced. After interviewing several roofing…read morecontractors, we chose eRoof to perform the work. Their representative, Garret H., presented a thorough plan for completing the work, assured us that he would coordinate with our insurance company as much as we required, and had a plan that would get the work done in just a few weeks. The eRoof bid was also in-line with other bids we had received to do the work. At the same time, we decided to upgrade our gutter system, which was the original one from 1959. The new system we chose included a cover to eliminate the need for gutter cleaning. We also needed to fix our chimney cap, which was falling apart in large chunks. eRoof also gave us competitive pricing for both projects and integrated that work into the overall work plan. The chimney cap replacement was completed first. That work began on a Monday and was finished the next day. The roof replacement happened on Friday, and the gutter system was hung the following Monday. All of the work was completed in an 8-day span. Throughout the process, Garret H. worked closely with our insurance adjuster to ensure that the new roof system met the current code requirements, with the insurance company agreeing to pay for the additional underlayment called for in the code regulations. The work crews were professional, courteous, and respectful of our property. The cleanup left the grounds in good condition. In conclusion, we are very pleased with the results in all three cases - the roof, the gutter system, and the chimney cap.
