Took one home that day and came back to the second on Friday (they had to take merchandise off the shelves we purchased). Long story, but after the shelves were empty I didn't like the piece. So I went looking for a different option in the store. We happened to find a beautiful bureau hidden under some things. It was perfect and for a decent price!! They have a ton of things here. No matter what the question is, they act like they're being torn away from something more important. Today, I walked in at 4:50, knowing they close at 5pm. I was "greeted" at the door by a woman who just said "We close at 5". No hello. No real sentiment. Her tone clearly indicated I had interrupted her. I told her I knew that because I had just walked by the hours of operation sign on the door. I did a very quick sweep. Grabbed two things and was standing in line to be checked out at 4:56pm. There was one customer finishing up at the register and one still in the store browsing. Several associates, including Ms. Welcome Wagon, were discussing things including customers. I mentioned that I worked in the restaurant industry and it was my employers policy that if someone came in at one minute till closing, they were treated with the same courtesy that the first customer of the day recieved. Ms. WW began shrieking that I was rude and had somehow deeply offended her. She took off without finishing the transaction, screaming the entire way about the colossal wrong I had committed. She came back with a manager, who looked at me like I was a dead rat on the floor and agreed with her co-worker. I apologized and again explained our policy of treating all customers the same, regardless of what time they came in. The sour faced manager told me that was good for me but they just did not do that. I didn't know what else to say, so I left. The clock said 5:00 as I got in my car. I try to be respectful to everyone and particularly, my customers. After all, it's my job, what I get paid, through the customers, to do. I don't think these two employees realize that.

The non clothing sections were really lacking. I found a sheet to repurpose but there were a few of them that belonged in the trash and not on the rack. You just have to either plan around when you go or be prepared to wait in a long line. Especially during the holiday season, for the first three or four hours the line is all the way to the back of the store and then all the way across the back. They have a big area to hold items, but even that fills up fairly quickly. The busiest time is definitely Friday morning so when I am just going to casually look around, I make sure it's in the afternoon. But they do have some great deals! The line does move fairly quickly and it gives you additional time to shop items along the way! They always have a lot of seasonal items.
