So I went looking for a different option in the store. We happened to find a beautiful bureau hidden under some things. It was perfect and for a decent price!! They have a ton of things here. Anyway, I love Room Service and have been coming here for years. Long before I relocated to Austin from the East Coast. It's part of my North Loop Jaunt where I hit up all my fave places in the neighborhood every few months or so. Prior to relocating, I'd visit Austin twice a year and always made time to stop in. This is one of the most inspiring and well laid out vintage stores ever. You can just get lost for hours. So many ideas for home decor and styling. They've always got a grand selection of MCM (Mid-Century Modern) furniture and accessories. My house is 99% MCM. They've really just got the best collection of everything. Trinkets, knickknacks, patches, light fixtures, dishes, mirrors, art, clothing, records, jewelry...you get my drift. Service is so super friendly and welcoming. I am particularly fond of the pro-trans sign in the entrance window!! Everything they carry is in very good to pristine condition and pricing is reflective. With that said, the prices are extremely fair. I can't recommend Room Service enough. Support local. Support small business. Sustainability. Be creative.

I had a feeling it probably wasn't going to be my kind of shop, and I turned out to be right--but that's not a knock on the store. This is a really cool place filled with things you won't find just anywhere. If you're looking for unique vintage, antique, mid-century modern, or just plain unusual pieces, you'll probably have a great time browsing. Just don't go expecting thrift store prices. Everything is priced much closer to full market value, so this is more of a vintage boutique than a thrift store. I originally stopped in because I'd seen photos online of some beautiful vintage glassware and hoped to find something to add to my collection. Unfortunately, they didn't have anything I was looking for, and what did catch my eye was more than I was willing to spend. I left empty-handed, and it's probably not a store I'll visit again simply because I'm more of a bargain hunter. But if you're looking for distinctive vintage pieces and don't mind paying market prices, Room Service Vintage is definitely worth a visit.

WOW!! just wow! i have NEVER seen such a massive collection of such beautiful cowboy boots in my…read morewhole life. they had ones that were GREEN! ones that had hearts on them, ones with people's names! they were just amazing. and the selection just went on and on. honestly, the minute i walked in i was nearly overwhelmed by all the beautiful things. they also had terrific cowboy shirts, really cool jewelry and a collection of amazing toy guns!! the toy guns were awesome. you could pick em up and just start shootin! the owner was super friendly and cool as well. she was playing great old school cowboy music. she said she has a live band at the shop every first friday. i'm definitely going for that. i'll tell ya, the next time i need the best cowboy boots ever, i'm going to made for walkin. i'll be the most stylish cowgirl at the rodeo!

The neighboring rooster was crowing early but otherwise it was a quiet stay. Each of the four units has its own outdoor space which is a prime area to stargaze at night. Communication was clear and informative leading up to the stay. The property is a short two minute drive to the main Round Top spots so it's very convenient. Recommend checking it out for a lovely stay!

The Boho Cottage looked exactly as pictured online: it was absolutely GORGEOUS and very clean and spacious. The interior was decorated with care and all of the pieces chosen are elegant and beautiful. Paige and Smoot, the owners, were also incredibly helpful and accommodating; they helped us arrange a special champagne toast welcome and made sure every detail was accounted for. Boho is minutes away from Henkel Square and tons of shopping spots. We really enjoyed our two night stay and I highly recommend The Vintage Round Top for a family getaway or your next girls' trip!
