Drive 45 min arrive 30 min early to be told I can only play 9. Didn't tee off until 4:20 nearly one hour after arrival. Was left to manage a belligerently drunk 5 some ahead of us for the entire round. Escalated to the point the police were called. Upon arriving back to the clubhouse, furious about the lack of management I proceeded to ask for a refund. Joe the front desk clerk ran into the bathroom after being told there was a problem. I along with 2 others that I played the round with were there to converse about our experience and were shrugged off and ignored when he went upstairs saying there was nothing he could do. After waiting for over 30 min he finally came downstairs, called Stephen who I assume is the owner, and then was given approval to refund our round. I will never golf here again.

"Sorry all booked up and the back 9 is closed" You don't have any room anywhere to fit a 2some in? "Nope all booked up with 4somes." At 7:55 a 4 some OF WALKERS is the first to tee off. At 8:05 6 people on the tee box. Clearly some geriatric boys club booking all the Sunday tee times so that no one else can play. My grandpa and I could have teed off at 7:45 and been on hole 3 by the time the first 4some made it to 1st green. Truly absurd and me nor my grandpa who lives 3 miles away will ever be back.

Ok, this is my first one so I can't really compare it to any other ;) I took my son here and he absolutely loves it! We spend 4-5 hours here and if he could he would probably spend all day! There are all different age groups, kids, teens, and adults! The few times we have been here, they have all been nice and friendly. Once in a while you'll have a little bad rugrat cussing. So despite the long drive down Concord road to places I never visit, I pulled into the guard gate, told them my name and party, and was allowed to enter. SWAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNKKKKKKKYYYYYY neighborhood y'all. Like really SWANK. Like country stars and billionaires swanky. Need to learn to play golf on that golf course so I can catch me a sugar daddy, no? Anyway, the mansion was Pleasant Hill, an old house built in 1854 by Colonel Winstead. It has been restored with period decor and is quite interesting to check out. They have room to set up tables for groups of diners and apparently even have weddings/receptions here. There's a large outdoor patio area for the same type thing. There's even a separate bar area so that people arriving can gather in there to get drinks and not block up the space between the tables since it is a little crammed in there when fully set up. The staff is welcoming and seem to really love being there which adds a nice Southern charm to the whole thing. Food was your standard group dinner stuff - salad with some really good thick balsalmic vinaigrette, entree was steak on one side, chicken on the other, and roasted vegetables and potatoes in the middle. Steak was medium well and a little on the bland side, chicken was standard. Overall just really average but when cooking for a large group it wasn't bad. The dessert was a decadent chocolate cake with white icing but the chocolate syrup covering it was definitely Hershey's syrup. Not like that's a bad thing! Overall seems like a really nice place to have a unique group dinner, rehearsal dinner, etc. And apparently if you live over there and are a member (of what? not sure) you get a deal on this. So move over to the neighborhood and then invite me over to your swanky place!

We love the pool events, and we will be doing golf camp this week for our 5 year old. Easter and Christmas time are magical times for the club with tons of social events. So glad we joined a few years ago. Ask love getting our golf lessons!
