She told me they would fade by two years and when I contacted her she said they were asymmetric because my face is. Ha! Please don't let her near you! This has affected my self esteem and I can't leave the house without my brows fully done. Even then, the yellow shows. I've finally found a new doctor that uses a different kind of laser and have some hope. I was lied to and gaslighted by her. I am devastated with my brows. I allowed Peta-Gay to talk me into brows that were much too large for my face, too dark and asymmetric. The first picture is with makeup pre-brows in 2018. I got microblading in Feb 2019 and the second picture is just a few days ago. This is just a warning to not only do your homework, but to think twice about getting microblading done at all. I don't think Peta-Gay meant to make my brows look the way they look, but if you have any face asymmetry at all it is really risky. She tried to correct the slight asymmetry and ended up making them look like two different brows. I've been waiting 2.5 years now for them to fade and am getting married next month. It's all I can think about. Even with makeup on, they look completely abnormal and just off from the rest of my face. My comments have nothing to do with the quality of the ink used (this was good), but just with how they were drawn. Every time I look in the mirror they haunt me though and I do want to warn others - especially if they are blonde. read more

I have had my extensions done at two other places. Both times, they were itchy, not full looking and came out within 2 weeks. This salon is gorgeous and clean, Olessia is super nice and professional and gives you ALL the info you need. I had no itching and even fell asleep. She made sure I was THAT comfortable. She also gave me info on maintaining my lashes as well as brushes to use daily to keep them looking beautiful- two things the other places DID NOT do. UPDATE 12/7: i just got my perfecting session and my brows are still amazing. The healing process was easy and they look AWESOME. Honestly, I think they looked amazing without the touchup but now they are flawless. I am 8 weeks out from my original appointment and I could not be happier. I will be coming back here again and again for my color touch ups in future years! I recently went to Peta-Gay to get my eyebrows microbladed. I have very fine, thin blonde brows and saw her microblading portfolio and was super impressed! Our consult appointment was super laid back and she answered all of my questions, and allowed me to sPlit my payment for the microblading. I will say it was a bit more expensive than I was expecting, but since it is a cosmetic tattoo I was willing to spend a bit more for an excellent result. For my actual appointment, the overall process took about 2.5 hours. A big part of it is getting the shape and spacing right (takes about an hour). After the numbing cream, the procedure wasn't as painful as I expected but I will say it still hurt! Feels like plucking hairs in a steady line. If you have a lower pain tolerance, just know you'll be a bit uncomfortable. The pain was worth it though - my brows look AMAZING! I have followed the aftercare instructions to a tee and they are healing really well. Much lighter under the scabs but super natural looking. Can't wait for my touch up session in a few weeks! Peta-Gay is wonderful! After finding her through Yelp I booked a microblading consultation appointment through her website. She had multiple dates/times available within the same month I found her so it made it easy to book at my convenience. The appointment itself was very pleasant. Peta-Gay was friendly and started off the conversation by asking me what I already new about microblading. From there our conversation flowed easily off from what I said. There was no chilling clinical feel in how the conversation went and I felt comfortable in her presence. By the conclusion of my appointment I felt confident in what would occur during the actual microblading appointment and was even given an "initial" outline of one of my eyebrows to see what might work best for me. I appreciated that she took the extra time in our appointment to do that even though it wasn't necessary (usually the outlining is done during the actual microblading appointment)! I decided I wanted to go ahead with the microblading and was able to book my next appointment (the actual microblading appointment) conveniently with her present. The booking deposit for the consultation actually went towards the microblading appointment, which is awesome! I was also able to get my actual microblading appointment payment split into two half-payments (one which was paid on-site at the microblading consultation and the other which will be paid at the actual microblading appointment). This made paying the whole amount for the actual microblading a little easier on the bank. I'm looking forward to my next appointment with Peta-Gay and will update my review to reflect how it went just as soon as it occurs! In the meantime if you are unsure and/or interested in her work I would highly recommend browsing through her Instagram pictures in addition to going through the Yelp reviews. Her price are expensive and she has a cancellation policy that is not excusing you even when you have a serious health issue. I find it unnecessary and inhuman. UPDATE: Instead of replying to my review on Yelp this business owner used my personal email, which was provided to her when I was a former client at Bosch Beauty Bar, to contact me directly. She then proceeded to chastise me on how my review and actions were dishonest. This owner was unprovoked in her actions. While my review was not completely positive I made no derogatory or slanderous comments that warranted this kind of personal response. This owner talked down to me as if I was a child who committed a bad deed by publicly sharing my thoughts via Yelp, a service whose purpose is to provide consumers with HONEST reviews of businesses. I will let the emails speak for themselves, there are links to our email correspondence so you all can have both sides of the story. I am in no way motivated to take business away from this person. I have never said anything negative about this establishment beyond my personal experience and it was in no way meant to be slanderous. I am only posting this to make public what has happened to me since then. I feel violated as Yelp user to be privately contacted by a business because my response was not satisfactory to the owner. I am only providing the correspondence as proof that I did not lie about this interaction. I am doing this to prove a point--business owners should not be allowed to privately intimidate or talk down to customers because you are not happy with the reviews left on sites made for this purpose! I had done "brow styling" at Blue Mercury- waxing/shaping and tinting, but I honestly didn't see any difference in my eyebrows from a typical $10 waxing. So, for my next eyebrow appointment I found Bosch Beauty Bar online and made an appointment after checking out their Instagram pictures. The salon is very cute and clean, and Peta was incredibly sweet. I had several questions and she answered every one without any sign of annoyance! I got the Bosch signature brow service, and loved the results. I typically need a couple products to fake fuller eyebrows, but I'm on day 3 of not even needing to use a pencil.
