The article is framed near the register. Here's another fun fact: for many years (but not recently) the owner, Rosemary, placed her old, unsold flowers on the sidewalk, for anyone to take. These "bum bouquets" as she quaintly titled them, also drove customers in the door, because they briefly brightened nearby homes, and neighbors became fans of fresh-cut produce. I came in the door and just spat it out. "I have an eight year-old who's about to do a ballet recital, I need something." Rosemary quickly got to work. "I bet she likes lavender? Girls love lavender." Definitely. The bouquet, which took some time to clip and arrange, was $28 of beauty. If you're paying with credit there's a $20 minimum, that's a pretty mandatory spend to buy love, which is what you're doing with flowers, you know that, right? You're literally buying love, and it smells much, much better than you do.

Flowers didn't get delivered because no one was at the theatre at 2pm. I specifically stated in the delivery notes that it was for an opening night gift for an evening show and that late in the afternoon would be preferred so that someone would be at the theatre. Thankfully the delivery person was kind enough to call me and I had to go pick them up at their main location. No where on the website does it say that 3pm is the latest for delivery, yet that's what i was told when I called to find out why they ignored the delivery instructions. I could forgive all this if the actual arrangement was as fresh and beautiful as their pictures online, but the roses are already turning and withering and the hydrangea is also on it's way out. This was supposed to be a purple arrangement, but they called and said they were out of the purple orchids and asked if they could substitute pink or white orchids, I selected pink as that was closer to purple, however, they put in white instead. Will not be using them again. And when I called to find out why my delivery instructions were ignored I was told that the latest is 3pm (like I should know that) and they acknowledged that it doesn't say that anywhere online when you order.
