Well well! We thought this was a Pilot.. nope. We're going to get showers and food. As we drove in we figured we would eat anyway. So we asked when we came in and YES it's a Pilot fuel AND will honor pilot showers !!!! Store is Bosselmans so no points there. Well kewl!! So after we eat we will go get r bags and grab our showers!! Not a waisted stop after all. So food looks good on the menu. I opted for a Denver omelet today and the boy chopped steak a la carte and a built your own salad. They have a paper with a pencil to build your OWN salad!! Kewl. My omelete was really good with red peppers in it instead of green Yumm. AND the cheese was melted on top instead of thrown cold on top( I hate that) waitress was great and chatted us up a bit and coffee always full and the iced tea too! read more

I made a stop for refreshments and a bathroom break. It's a truck stop with plenty of food kiosks and a large convenience store. Travelers such as myself can use the restrooms and get a quick bite or cold beverage here. Bathrooms weren't the cleanest here and the parking lot serves as a gas spot and rest place for the weary. read more

This is the first Bosselman truck stop that was opened by Fred Bosselman in 1965. While the location has been upgraded over the years one thing has never changed. Service. They know what service means and they treat customers with respect and no attitude. If I'm traveling along I-80 this is one of my mandatory stops for fuel because of this. It's very friendly with easy, wide access for vehicles with trailers, and of course trucks as that is why it was built in the first place. They have a large well stocked c-store inside, strong fountain drinks, a food court with various offerings including some national chains (chain food on a long road trip = safe food, especially if you have kids riding along), a CB shop, professional driver services, and much more. Fuel pricing is competitive with other locations along I-80. ONE SPECIAL NOTE: Bosselman has VERY CLEAN RESTROOMS. These are not your typical truck stop bathrooms, not even close. In short if you're driving along I-80 and are not sure where to stop for fuel or something quick to eat, Bosselman is a safe bet. read more

Probably a great truck stop but ONLY ONE of the employees were wearing any type of face coverings. You'd think at least the people preparing food would be. No hand sanitizer options near door. There were no social distancing signs from what I could tell. Absolutely zero covid notices on the door either. If you are trying to stay safe I suggest finding another place to stop at. If I could give zero stars I would I was literally scared for my life going in there. Disgusting. Masks are an IQ test at this point and the staff and most of the costumers failed miserably. read more

Lot is big & laid out well. I like the pump area. A walkway across the fueling trucks is marked in yellow. When you're done fueling, you move up to a yellow line that's far enough ahead that the truck behind can get out without waiting for your rude ass to contemplate the merits of each donut while taking a 30-min break in the fuel lane. The Quaker Steak & Lube is nice. Plus Subway & Little Caesar's. And a drivers' lounge & shop. I would give 5 stars if the staff was more enthused to be there. Or at least a little friendly. They act like they have low pay & sucky shifts. read more

An older truck stop that needs a facelift badly. Needs a few nicer staff. A few act like you're bothering them when they're supposed to be doing their jobs. Helpful hint: it's a truck stop, so stop closing the food court before 10pm. Truckers don't have banker hours. Other than that, normal truck stop, nothing out of the ordinary. read more

Excellent customer service! Their body shop is open 24/7 also, and I was able to get a tire replaced at 11pm at night. The mechanics even noticed that another tire I had was incorrectly placed by Walmart. They replaced the direction of the lug nuts with no complaints. I will be back! read more

This is one of the nicest truck stops I've seen. Yes, it's a little old and dated, but it kind of adds to its charm. It has a huge parking lot for truck drivers, so you're almost always guaranteed to find a spot. Laundry is a little cheaper than most places, plus the driers are huge, so you can fit two loads into one dryer and it'll all be dry in 40 minutes, can't beat that. There's a barber and a massage place here, as well as a place to get DOT physicals and a vape shop. This place is almost as nice as Iowa 80, but it also has a decent sized arcade for both kids and adults, and several pool tables. The Little Caesar's here is way more expensive than what you'd get at a normal one, and I don't think they keep too many hot and ready pizzas; one guy was told it would be a 10 minute wait for a pizza. The Subway is definitely decent and the one person there gives extra meat for no charge. Max's Thunder Road Bar and Grill, formerly Quaker Steak and Lube, is decent, but has a very limited menu in comparison to QSL, and is a lot more expensive food wise. The drinks are decently priced, but the mixed and frozen drinks are pretty weak. Along with that, the waitress we had was nice, but she seemed like she should have been working breakfast and not evenings. She was kind of slow and easily distracted. All in all though, this is a great place to stop for a break. read more
