I asked for a sample of a dark beer and he handed me a full pint glass, then used the same glass for the actual pour. A little odd, a little funny, but somehow it fits the vibe here. It's not corporate, not scripted just a real local bar doing things their own way. The energy easy, and the beer solid. If you're looking for a polished taproom, this isn't it. But if you want a laid back spot with character and no pretense, Mack House has its own charm.

I've been here quite a few times, it's one of my closest local drinking establishments. Drinks are cheap, the people are loud, and they are there to do some drinking and smoking (or vaping weed lol). It's loud because of all the games on the one side, and is also livelier on weekends. The other side is more chill, has a lot of TVs and it's great for watching sporting events, especially Panthers hockey is big here (I got to watch 4 Nations hockey tourney which was on every TV, so that was a score). There are electronic darts on this side as well. People here are down to earth and I've met some cool people here over the years. I should get here more often, but I'm at the age where I don't park myself in smokey bars as much as my younger days. There's no food, only games and drinking. I pull into the packed parking lot and greeted by some friendly smoking patrons on the outside. Inside people are split between tables and the big screen tvs. Near seen so many Bear fans at a bar in south Florida. The whole venue is neat and organized. I park myself at the bar, start chatting with a neighbor, grab a few Jack Daniels on the rocks, and order the minimum 10 wings. Drinks come out fast - that's why I got a few. I was late in the 3rd before the wings appear. Big, juice, and the sauces were good. Best would be the Hot Honey Garlic and the Hot Honey BBQ. Neither really that hot but plenty of flavor. Waitress was friend and quickly wrapped up the rest for great left overs for work the next day. Very casual and chill spot. Definitely pop in and experience it for yourself.
