I canceled service and they delayed getting back to me on purpose to let the contract date lapse. Multiple times I called I was put on eternal hold and then often a call would magically drop. They offered a smaller number of licenses (1 total) when I wanted to cancel and then they renewed me to a full 12 months more and refused to honor their offer to downgrade and are forcing me to pay for a service we do not use. They did not tell me we needed a 30 day cancelation notice until after they forced a one year renewal on our account without telling me. Customer service has been nasty and arrogant with flippant "thank you for your feedback" answers and attitude emails. Initially I thought this product was good, but the way they treat people, with no compassion or assistance is terrible. Use anything but these people. They are very cold and cruel.

I found that they were pretty good until I needed customer support, then I found myself on my own. A couple of months ago a hacker got into my system and trolled for all my passwords (or changed them), including my Lastpass password. I couldn't get into my Lastpass account. I contacted Lastpass, A computerized voice told me to use my Lastpass emergency password. It was corrupted. I started looking through the Lastpass "community". There is no monitor. I might as well be in the middle of rumor mongers. I did deduce that I was S.O.L. in getting back into my Lastpass account. All those long hours setting up my account? Forever lost! Was I pissed? You bet! To add misery to grief, I get an Email from Lastpass that my credit card was denied for a re3newed subscription (I had to change credit cards). I told them exactly where to put their bill. My take-away from this experience is to REALLY research the password lockers you want to use prior to buying their product. I strongly advice AGAINST buying Lastpass. I do advice looking around. I am not giving you any advice as to what password locker is better than another. You'll need to do your own research. I will say this. If you are using a touch screen and Windows 8 (or above), Microsoft has some (good) surprises for you, so look for these in a password locker program. In addition to password, try to find: Use of facial recognition Use of Thumbprint Use of voice recognition I have found several password lockers that offer one or all three. He showed up to my house when I had a virus he couldn't fix, some Sonos and iTunes questions he didn't know how to answer (he had printed out Help docs from Apple...yes, I could have done that myself) and still couldn't answer, and a couple of other things (systems upgrade issues) that he had no idea how to fix. Fine that he couldn't fix the problems, but what irked me was that these were issues that someone who advertises as a for-hire technician should have been able to fix, and he was fairly smug about looking down at his watch at the end of the session and gladly took my cash as if he was rightly entitled for wasting a half hour of my time with the same troubleshooting I could have done myself. I nearly said "you're really going to charge me?". I would not say that this guy is an expert, nor is he fluent on current issues or a level of expertise that warrants charging $$$ in 15-minute intervals. Nice guy on a personal level but baby boomer mentality that "hey I showed up where's my check". If you call this guy, make sure you list out the problems you have and let him convince you he knows what he's doing before he shows up at your door and slowly tries all the things you already did...as he watched the minutes tick by.
