My name is ZachG and i always have enjoyed the service from the waitresses, and owner of this establishment in Petawawa, I have recently been to some in Ottawa and most definitely felt more important and comfortable in the positive atmosphere these genuine and hard working bartenders, hostesses and waitresses. I would say they deserve more than whats being said about them on this site. i love their popcorn shrimp. Hope their all well miss that type of service. I am grateful to have them around when i was there and i never felt more comfortable at any other establishment. Small servings.. service can be slow.. overpriced ... very clean.. not my first choice.. meh

My wife and I beat the evening supper rush and enjoyed a fairly quiet, nice meal on the patio. She had the mushroom bake while I had the jambalaya fettuccine, both of which were delicious. Too then off with a pint or two if BP sized Stella and a Rose Sangria Smash and a very enjoyable evening was had. The spinach and artichoke appies also went down well. I'd give them zero but they didn't have that option. For starters, went out for a nice date night with my partner. We get seated and are assigned server Jessica. Right off the bat she had an attitude towards me (male). My partner got a chicken burger,and I got a regular burger. My girlfriend cut into her chicken burger and saw that there was pink in the middle. We called our server Jessica over and told her about the pink chicken burger and she said "oh it's fine, as long as it reaches 165 degrees internally it's cooked". I wasn't ok with that answer and wanted it sent back and cooked properly. She said in a short tone " k fine,I'll do that in a min". 10 minutes goes by and she finally takes it back. She comes back later on with a new burger, my gf was happy with it now. Our server asked if she needed a fork for her fries but I noticed we already had forks on our table so I said "no it's ok we have forks here" and Jessica snapped at me and said "I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to her". I've never been so disrespected before. Not once during our meal did she check in on us to see how things were going/food good/need anything else etc. But the booth behind us was attended to frequently by her. We definitely felt segregated. At the end of the meal she pushed the card machine towards my girlfriend right away and completely ignored me. This was the strangest behaviour both my girlfriend and I have witnessed. We did not tip as we did not receive tippable service. Jessica saw we did not tip and she did a big sigh then said "well,make good choices!" and walked away. We were beside ourselves at this point and left the building with the idea of never returning again. She ruined our date night & our experience at the petawawa location. We later went to the Pembroke location and had a completely different experience. It was like night and day difference. To this day,Jessica still works at the petawawa location. Hopefully nobody is a victim of her blatant negligence towards food service practices and food safety & handling. Not to mention her clear hate towards men. read more

We ordered 2 10" pizzas from here one was the cauliflower base. When my husband went back to pick up the server said they didn't have the 10" cauliflower one and she had given us the 8" one with supposed more topping. When we got home the pizzas was cold and if that was more toppings I would have not liked to see what we would have gotten. I tried to call about this but no answer. I would not ever go back there for a pizza again. read more

I will never go to Boston Pizza Petawawa again unless it's strictly for drinks. Absolutely HORRIBLE service. Everyone at the table had gotten their meals (after being there for an hour & a couple of them weren't even correct) except J.. I asked two different servers maybe three times where it was and when it would be out.. Both lied to me about where it was or when it'd be in front of him .. "it's coming." "It'll be out soon." .. I knew something was up when the second server replied with "uh... it's uh.. ummm.. it's.." when asking where it was. After being there for almost two hours they finally came and told me that they ... RAN OUT OF THE PASTA I ASKED FOR (two other kids at our table had gotten theirs though) ... so they'd have to make him spaghetti instead. At this point everyone else was almost done eating. I asked to speak to the owner/manager and he just shrugged it off. I told him I wasn't paying and that having your servers lie to customers is absolutely unacceptable. I usually am not one to make a stink but the fact that they waited and waited made my blood boil. I told him I'd be reporting it to head office. If it had been my meal, I wouldn't of cared at all but they made my two year old wait almost two hours for a meal.. I actually I didn't even eat my meal because I was so livid. Before leaving I had said to the server that she maybe should've been upfront about it at the beginning instead of making my two year old wait 2 hours to eat. She said she went back and told the owner "it's been almost an hour.." and he told her to keep saying it was coming. We got to Boston pizza at 6:40pm and left at 9pm. Unreal. read more

I went with a group with 6 people including me, we had reservations for dinner at 6, when we showed up we ordered apps ( 2 dry ribs, a calamari, and a "Spin-dip" ) none of are food came for at least half hour , and it was not vary busy. But the apps were good, then we ordered dinner, (3 wings, a kids Quesada and side salad, and a pasta) that didn't show up for at least another half hour, when it did 2 of the wing orders came then about 5 mins later the kids meal came the salad was soggy (from sitting under the heating light until it was brought to us) then the next order of wings was brought with the wrong side sauce so the waiter went to get the right one but came back with the same wrong sauce, then the pasta came out ( that was suppose to be with cheese baking on it) that had no cheese at all just the toppings and sauce) but that time we didn't have time for them to take it back to fix it so we just said that we didn't want to be charged for something we didn't get, the waiter said sorry for the mess up,( and we didn't end up paying full price for the meal) then the last order of wings came out, they were good. none of us with wings finished them we all each got 16 wings and ate no more than 4 each, then were not that good. we got 2 desserts, 1 kids worms and dirt and 1 ice cream and brownie, the brownie and ice cream was good, but the worms and dirt were not liked and not eaten. We will not be returning to this bosten pizza , we will definitely go the 20 more minute drive for much better food and service. I am posting this review on behalf of my group, whom all felt the same way I just am the most tech-y person so I'm writing it. I am not the member who payed for the meal but I would not have payed what they did the only thing we got discounted for was the pasta but we should have got the kids FREE, it was vary clear that the heating light was what caused the meal to go bad, it also proves that the meal was done but was sitting in the back while we waited hungry. As to the waiters and chefs of BP I would hope something shocking has happed recently to all the people who interacted with us cause if not the they are just bad at their jobs and should not work there. I do not mean to sound harsh in this review but for what we paid we should have gotten better results. this review is manly bad for the chefs behalf as the problem was mostly in the actual food. read more
