i was in timmins for the final time recently as my brother and i were selling the family home. I was staying close by and decided to drop in to grab a few quick meals. I had the buffalo chicken mac and cheese with a caesar salad. It was quite good and a nice change of pace. You notice that Boston Pizza has a larger tv to create a stronger sports ambience, it might be the best sports bar in Timmins now. I had the double burger with cheese and fries which was ok. 6 of us visited Boston Pizza on a work trip, total of two visits over 3 days. I enjoyed the Steak Sandwich with mashed potatoes on our first visit and the Chicken Chipotle sandwich with chips the second visit. Both items were perfectly cooked, as described on the menu and offered portions equal to their menu price. I would order either item again on a future visit. Great beer selection, offering bottles and draft. For the draft they offer the standard pint and over sized beer mugs (32 oz I think). Beers were cold! Service could have a bit better but all in all a good time. read more

Decent pizza sports bar with a large menu of options ranging from pizza to ribs. We came with a large group and sat in the bar area. Servers were helpful and quick and happily served 30+ people and split checks accordingly. Lots of pizza options in different sizes (individual, small, medium, large) so everyone can have exactly what they want. They had standard pizza toppings, then other options like Mediterranean pizza and pierogi pizza. You can also build your own. They were happy to build a veggie pizza with no cheese for my vegan date. Decent drink specials fishbowl style. They said it was the equivalent of a triple, which it probably was, but it's a big fishbowl to fill, so it was a bit watered down. The service here is horrible! I timed it, 5min 23sec before anyone acknowledged me after I sat down. They finally asked what I wanted to drink. Finished my drink and waited a long time before someone stopped to see if I wanted another. Soup arrived and was not hot. Finished my meal and then sat waiting for my bill. The place was not busy, nobody working there cares apparently. Only reason they survive IMO is the Hilton hotel in the backyard so easy walk. 2 thumbs down! read more

I wound up here out of convenience. I was expecting mediocrity but the food was pretty darn good. I had the chipotle chicken sandwich with garlic mash. It was super tasty but seriously lacking in any chipotle flavor, I actually asked for ranch and dumped it on the sandwich and WOW totally works, highly recommend doing the same. The garlic mashed potatoes were hella good. We had to wait for a few minutes before we were seen, to be seated but it was pretty late so I don't fault them for that. The server was great about our drink order and giving us more time to go over the massive menu before committing. They have much more than just pizza - there's a wide array of burgers/sandwiches/pasta/apps. The desserts looked tasty too but my calorie allotment was spent on the sandwich :D read more

For a change we decided to come here and I was shocked at what the menu offered as appetizers. There was no fried pickles, mushroom caps, tornado fries and the soup of the day was Ravioli which I find not to appetizing. And as far as the rest of the menu there are items that a person who has IBS issues can't tolerate all the grease from the hamburgers and the ceasar salad had 2 lemons buried in the salad which should have been on the side. I am not thrilled about the restaurant at all.. I understand it's a pizza place but there should be more choices on the menu. read more

That's right I haven't even paid the bill yet and my wife is sitting at the table as I sit on the throne expelling the meal in liquid form. i came with my brother and his friend here for a quick lunch as i had returned home for the holidays. We all had the beef dip with fries and the roasted pepper soup. It was quite good and hit the spot on a cold day Trust me it was cold in Timmins for Christmas, much different than Vancouver. I noticed they had lots of tvs as well so i was able to catch the world junior hockey game as well. This is probably one of the best Boston Pizzas i have been to and i have to about ten in the Lower Mainland and the rest of the country. I'm usually not a fan of Boston Pizza because i have found them to be generic. The server at this location was fast polite and professional as well.We had a good time read more

I find food sometimes undercooked but they are happy to fix it. Good service. Frozen vibe as with most chains.

Honestly the menu Is standard from any other BP across the board, nothing to write home about. However my server, Avery, was amazing!!! I was here for work but it felt like home. I appreciate the great service and while I have other choices I will be back in a couple months. Thank you for making my time away from home feel good!!! read more

Second time in two days I've been here. Yesterday I had the MVP burger with a stale bun, but other than that it was ok. Today I am here and at first the service was good but there was a huge gap of time (20+ minutes) where I didn't see a server (bar side). It is a Sunday afternoon and it isn't all that busy but I expect a bit better service. Planning to watch a movie, i ordered take out for pick up. After waiting 45 min for my 20 min order, i was informed they were out of wings and offered a non-gluten free substitute (despite the entire order being gluten free). Fine. I was refunded my money. I then recieved the remainder of my order. When i got home i realized they forgot the side to my sandwich. I went back, told the manager who then asked if I still wanted her to get it. Almost an hour later i had (most of) my order (stoned cold) and missed most of my movie. No discounts. No free sides. read more

We were there November 5, 2013 for lunch. Found a hair in my chicken dish. Reported it to the Manager, he took the plate, said I will take care of this, left and never came back to our table with an explanation. Not happy at all with the outcome. Me and my family went to Boston pizza for a nice supper the first problem was that I asked for the soup of the day and my waitress didnt even know she then took 3 minutes to ask people in the back. Our drinks were empty for at least 5 mins and they walked by twice and it took over 5 minutes to get them refilled when drinks were given they were handed to the wrong people after asking. tables were as little dirty after inspection but not too dirty. Plates were dirty and unsanitary for eating in my opinion there were finger prints on the plates and soap stains. One of my family members had the boston brute and says that the meat was hard because they cooked it for too long and tasted rubbery another one of my family members had a pizza and it wasn't cut so they took it back and cut it thankfully. There are one or two things they got right such as my wings and making this a terrible experience.. negative 1star! read more

Was forced to eat here tonight because I am staying at the Hampton and there's nothing else around within walking distance. Calamari tasted stale like it was made 4 hours prior then refried. The sauce for my Chicken Bowtie was lacking flavour, the pasta was overcooked, and the chicken was tough. I might have overlooked the food if the service was good, but it wasn't, and there was only 3 tables occupied with 1 gentleman at the bar (who might have been an employee). There were 2 servers working, which is more than enough to cover the patrons. My main was served to me and I was not offered Parmesan or fresh black pepper. After about 4 minutes, I asked for it. After 5 minutes (I timed it), I went to the bar to try and find some on my own. When I asked my server, she advised that the gentlemen was coming with it; no apology given for the wait. I am turned off of Boston a Pizza for life, yuck... I didn't even pack my leftovers. read more
