Always a visit when I'm back in town to see my folks. Never had a bad experience here, and they were more than accommodating when 20+ of us showed up one night for my dad's 80th. Whats with the 2-star rating??? This was my first sit down meal during this pandemic. Patio was very nice, people were spaced far enough apart to social distance. Servers wore masks which was appreciated. And ofcourse the food was really good. I was really excited for the first meal that I didnt cook. Lol overall was a great experience. This place is taking the pandemic seriously and I felt very safe dining there. Washrooms were cleaned after each person's use too. Always a great visit. Stopped by for lunch with my friend at the Wasaga Beach location earlier this week. We were lucky the weather was nice so we got to sit out on the patio which is quite spacious. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We ordered a salad and a quesadilla and both arrived quickly. We were also pleased to see that Boston Pizza has now banned straws from their franchises so our drinks were served without them. My quesadilla was delicious. My friend had the Chicken Pecan salad which is quite large as it is full of ingredients. She had to take some home with her for another lunch! We will definitely return and would recommend to anyone to visit. read more

Nacho appetizer was great. But as soon as the main meal came I experienced wet soggy quesadilla. My boys pizza had extra oil on the plate and hair was found. Washroom said 1 person max but 4 people were in there. read more

As a cottage last supper, myself, five adults and two children decided we were pretty low on groceries, and that it was time to find a restaurant. Wasaga was only twenty minutes away, and in looking for a restaurant we were trying to find a place that would please everyone. Pizza. Everyone loves pizza. Even bad pizza is good pizza. I don't mean to hate on the pies themselves, but this was my first time at a Boston Pizza and it was just kind of a gross experience. Huge plastic menus, loud, and sadly without any of the fun themes that can help get you through dinner at other similar chains. Someone down the table seemed pleased with their pierogi pizza, so if you have to hit this place, perhaps give that a go? read more

I sympathise with and generally agree with the three earlier reviewers. My assessment is based on a comparison with my regular Boston Pizza haunt - the one in Barrie. How disappointing for me that though I now live in Wasaga Beach, which has its own Boston Pizza, I know I will get much more enjoyable Boston Pizza fare and consistently absolutely excellent service by driving into Barrie. Why the hell can't they buck their ideas up locally though - try a little harder all round. Wouldn't take much. Lazy buggers. read more

A lot of places in Wasaga Beach close in the winter, and with this Boston Pizza being open year-round, I figured there would be a lull in business during the fall. Clearly not, and I feel as if there's some good reasons for that. Despite other reviews I've read on Yelp, the few times I've been here it's been a nice experience. With the Boston Pizza chain overall I find they carry a good set of standards and very modern settings, evident in this newer restaurant. The setting is sort of like a sports bar on one side, and a restaurant dining room on the other. So they offer a mix of more conventional dishes like pasta and salads along with bar food like wings and pizza (more of what I'd say they're known for). The food here is good, pizza is good, but if you came here hungry the pizza burger is a great suggestion I'd make. Seems to me like this place is run right, staff are nice and the food is good. Prices really aren't that bad either. Yet another good franchise in the Boston Pizza chain! read more

One of the best Boston Pizza places I have been too. The pizza is very good with excellent crust. Pretty much the only eating establishment of its kind in Wasaga so there isn't much choice. Would probably not order anything but pizza at any Boston Pizza. read more

Long day at the beach... so we thought having Boston Pizza would be reliable and yummy since we normally enjoy their food......... What we ordered: "Broken Lasagna" and asked specifically for no onions "Pepperoni and Bacon Burger" with a salad. The burger is almost like a panzerotti with a thick burger patty. It was very plain and dry because it didn't have any sauce in it (doesn't pizza have sauce on it?). I ended up ordering extra marinara sauce on the side, which then made it delicious! Unfortunately, the lasagne was not so wonderful. First plate we got was buried in onions. As it was sent back, we were told by the Manager that the person working in "Expo" had made a mistake and had given away the wrong lasagna. He pointed out that it wasn't the waitress' fault. (was that supposed to affect the tip?) The second lasagna arrived, 30 minutes after I started the burger. First of all.... the noodles on the outside of the bowl had no sauce. ZERO sauce!! On a lasagna?!!? They had put a tiny bit of sauce in the middle of the bowl, just under the cheese. Secondly, there was no ground beef!! There were a couple thinly sliced pieces of sausage spread on it. We had to order 3 MORE marinara sauces just to make it edible. What a disappointment!! The manager told us at the end that "it's the same amount that we always put on our lasagna!", so be forewarned, expect to ask for extra sauce if you don't want a case of dry mouth. Funny thing is, neither the waitress nor manager seemed surprise when we made our complaints. Or when the table next to us made theirs. He discounted us our sodas and marina sauce. How nice. Never again. P.S. The only reason they are getting 2 stars instead of one is that their patio was super cute and had a separate non-smoking area. read more

Horrible service. I went with my parents for a casual Saturday night dinner. The food was ok. The waitress seemed new and was very nervous (her hands were shaking when she was pooring wine into the glass!!!!!). Didnt follow steps of service for pouring wine correctly. The manager seemed careless about everything. And one huge thing that really bothered me about this place is the fact that we noticed the waitresses cleaning the tables by putting their knees on top of the seats to reach the end of the table. I dont understand why its so hard to just do it by the side. That is unnacceptable and unprofessional in every single way. read more

My wife and I went looking for dinner, in Wasaga Beach. I thought Boston Pizza would be ok. Everything was pretty standard until my wife got her side/appetizer salad which was included with her entree. She began shuffling through the fluffed pile of sad wilted leaf lettuce and wrinkled red onion and found lying at the bottom ...something. I though it was a dessicated spider, she thought it was maggot like, anyway it was grey and dead. The server noticed as examining the dead beast and called in the manager. Before I could get my phone out for a photograph she whipped it away and back to the safety of the kitchen. She offered us a replacement salad (from the same bin of salad the first one came from, no thanks!). Since we didn't want the soup and nothing else was offered that only left the chicken Parmesan. Since I had a Burger I think my maggot/spider was deep fried. Of course the bill came and we were charged the full cost. After a long day at work I had the choice between an argument or spreading the joy on-line. Nearly fifty bucks for an unhappy experience for two. Eat there if you want, but at your own risk. I'm pretty sure that plate of salad went back in the salad bin. read more

A family of three of us stopped by for a family dinner after relaxing day on the beach. The place was not even full that day. Waited for our order for 30+ min. Figured the order was screwed up in the kitchen when customers that arrived much later started getting their main courses. Nice. Had to go to the kitchen for cutlery because the request was simply forgotten. After that had an unpleasant conversation with the location manager who insisted on excellent job of her hardworking stuff (that she personally trains) and who made personal comments of: you-are-just-having-a-bad-day nature. HORRIBLE. $50 for one of the worst meals I've had. If you like too much salt, this is your place. My wife & I went for a nice simple New Years eve dinner and came away VERY dissatisfied. She had the BLAND 5 cheese ravioli, and my Buffalo chicken sandwich was a soggy saturated mess with a SAD caesar salad. Go grab a greasy burger at a fast food joint and you will have spent a lot more wisely...I'd give it minus 5 stars if it were possible... read more

Both times food was below average - ribs were overdone and covered with bbq sauce. Portion was unacceptable which was brought to waitresses attention - ends and bits plus bone with no meat. Nothing was done although Manager was travelling around speaking to patrons; however, my concerns were not brought to his attention. The second experience - invited by a friend, was not much better. I am (was) a regular customer at this location for watching the UFC fights always in the dining area with my wife and friends, unfortunately this night no fight in dining area, manager- owner (nick) asked us what the problem was and said to bad we have to sit at the bar while the dining area sat empty. I read the reviews from before and find something in common with all of them; the management. My family and I were vacationing at the beach this summer and chose to go to Boston PIzza because both my kids and husband enjoy the food. Our server was incredibly friendly, and was with us promptly and took our order. When my personal size pizza arrived, i noticed they had forgotten a vital topping to my BBQ CHICKEN pizza. There was no chicken... Go figure. So I managed to get the manager's, Sandy, attention and she said she'd bring it back and get me a new one. HOWEVER, when my server came back to deliver the pizza, it was clearly the same pizza as A) the bite which I had taken from it was still there and B) the crust was now rock hard as they had probably put it back through the oven for a second time! So I notify my server who gladly tried to offer me something else and I refused because we were pressed for time as we were returning home and had a four hour drive ahead of us. She said she'd get her manager to discount the bill. HOWEVER, shortly afterwards the manager came over and said very rudly that she doesnt give away food, that she would not discount the bill, or take the pizza i had NOT eaten off the bill, but that she could give me a "free pizza" card for my next visit or get the kitchen to make me a new one to-go. This card, HOWEVER, was valid only at the beach BP and seeing as we were going to be on the road for the next four hours, I clearly could not conserve the CHICKEN pizza. I explained this to her and she very rudly still declined! I still don't understand the difference.... taking it off the bill now or giving me a card which allows me to have it for free later. As she walked away, I saw her server approach her and ask what was going on with the bill and I overheard Sandy saying "They're tourists, they won't be back here anyway". I was appauled and frustrated. My server came to see us shortly afterwards and sincerely apologized and said normally with the management whom WEREN'T the OWNERS of the restaurant that the bill would have been discounted. Our server was fantastic and I felt bad for her having to put up with such a rude boss...OH, and thats not the end of it... as we were walking out the door...I hear Sandy telling her server that she discounted the bill of the table beside us because the woman had lost her husband this past spring..... Are you kidding me? I guess she's not aware that these "tourists" come back every summer and will never eat at this BP ever again... we also know many people in the area;family and friends whom we talk to about such ridiculousness and who are also disgusted by such behaviour. And to think....my local friends tell me Sandy attempted running for mayor...and Alex attempted running for the Liberal party. Glad they're not my leaders read more

We came to this location after a day at the beach. It was a Saturday night so we understand that it's busy. We arrived at around 8 and we were told it would be 10-15 minutes for a table outside. After probably half an hour of waiting, a group of 4 comes in and talks to the manager (woman with short blonde hair) and asks for a table outside... while doing this, the one gentleman hugs her so he clearly knew who she was... she winked at them and told them the wait wouldn't be too long, and sat them a table outside within minutes. She then came up to us and said she didn't know when any tables outside would become available and asked if we still wanted to wait... so we said no and left. The three of us have been servers for 6 years minimum and find this situation to be a complete embarrassment to your establishment. Some more thought should be put into who you have first greeting you when you walk in... our restaurant would never have such a woman running the wait list. read more
