Decent, but expensive, pizza. Hopefully Yorkton has better pizza than this somewhere... Avoid -- as if your life depended on it -- the cream-sauce pasta. One member of our group had a cream/vegetable sauce on her pasta. I had a taste (stupid me). That taste stayed with me for hours. read more

The service here warrants the 1 star...it took asking 4 times and almost 45 minutes to get bread... The staff just doesn't care about anything and the locals seem content with this level of service which is ridiculous when you consider the inflated prices. Stopped for an order of smokey Mountain spegetti and meat balls. The person that answered the phone, I had to tell him my phone number 3 time and that I wanted it "To go" at least 4 times. The pasta was so over cooked it was mushy and gluey. The meat balls wer almost burnt. Since the previous franchise owners left the food has gone right in the tiolet. Last time I stop there. I usually have a great experience at any BP I go to, but not this time. I went for lunch at 1:30, the place wasn't that busy, maybe 1/3 filled. Still, it took at leadt 30 -35 minutes for one my meal, just a sandwich. I wasn't given any cutlery or napkins, and the server never came by for at least 15 minutes. I had to grab my own cutlery and napkin. The meal was ok. A bit greasy and the bacon was undercooked. The cactus cut chips were good but there was such a small amount on the plate, hardly worth the extra $2 they charge. Over an hour from sitting down to even getting my bill. Way too long for one person. Not sure if the staff, the training or the management, but I would hesitate to ever visit this one again. Too bad for such a good chain. read more

I wish I could give fewer stars than one. While my partner and I were in town for the holidays, a member of her family unexpectedly passed away. Friends of ours thoughtfully sent us a gift card to Boston Pizza for $100 as they knew there was a franchise in Yorkton and that the family would appreciate a supper they didn't have to cook. I called to order a couple of pizzas and some starters, making it clear that I would be paying with a gift card. They told me it would be ready in half an hour. Cool. When I arrived 25 minutes later, I was told that since the total was only $76 and the gift card was $100, we would lose the remaining $24. I suspect that such a policy is inconsistent with provincial consumer affairs regulations but it is, at any rate, absurd. Faced with a gift card that clearly says "we wanted to do something for the family..." the manager decided it best to tighten the purse strings. Not wanting to lose the money our friends so thoughtfully gifted us, I just paid the balance - I'll use that gift card at another franchise. If that weren't enough, the food was just plain bad. I'm not sure why they told us half an hour because clearly some of the food had been made hours before. Cold and stale, the pizza bread was ateotious. And the pizza, my god. What on earth makes you think that any pizza needs that much sauce? And why WHY is there a spicy sauce on a Hawaiian pizza? Chocolate chips would be more appropriate than spicy sauce on a Hawaiian pizza. Ridiculous, heartless service and brutal food. I'll never step foot in this Boston Pizza again. read more

I don't often go to Boston Pizza.It just doesn't thrill me.However, when you are outta town and there does not seem to be anything better, well you make do.The place looks like any if them.The service I had was fine.Waitress was fairly attentive.Food is okay to good.The menu is fairly extensive and I feel the price is average.I had the chipotle-bacon penne which I liked.I call it 'comfort' food.Not high end but definitely tasty and more than enough.Friends had the wings which they liked and the pizza which they said was average.Overall,it's fine for a casual night out. read more

I usually enjoy Boston pizza. This location is not very good. Ordered a pizza for pick up at noon for 6pm. Went there to pick it up and the manager(I'm assuming) took my payment and didn't go get my food. Waited until almost 7 until I finally got my very cold pizza. I asked numerous times if it was ready yet and the staff would "go check" and not return. Was very unhappy about this and told them that and all I got was a "sorry about the wait" have been back since and service has been okay.. wouldn't recommend ordering for take out that's for sure. read more

I wrote a review before for BP, but it seems to have been deleted? It wasn't a good one, I recommend you take your business elsewhere, I have. I ordered 2 pizzas, one was on special, it came out to over 82 dollars, I would have hated to have paid the regular price. I ordered 2 rib dinners to go, got home only had 1 order, when I called and complained, they offered me a coupon to dine in only, sorry, hows about refunding the 20 bucks I paid for air, That BP is the last money of mine you will see. We stopped on our way from Saskatoon to Manitoba. We got seated at a table right next to the kitchen in a section all by ourselves. The noise from the kitchen and the servers was overwhelming. I could barely hear my husband or our server. Then they marshalled behind us to celebrate a birthday on the other side of us. Do it started with loud clapping, then djnging then yelling the birthday boy was 9!! We won't be stopping again. read more

BP is known for high quality comfortable dining. The menu is updated and holds many wonderful entrees. They have a great kids menu and food quality is always top-notch. Staff are young friendly and attentive. Personal favourites are the Ribs, Steak, Burgers and Spinach Salad. We enjoy the variety of the menu and I know my kids (who are picky eaters) will eat and enjoy their meal. I have never had a meal here that wasn't excellent. Great lounge too! read more
