Beware of this company!!!!! In May, I hired "Princess Jasmine" from a company called Boston Princess Parties to come for my daughter's 4th birthday. She truly was phenomenal. She was very talented and did a great job of involving the kids and making it a fun party for the kids. As a result, my younger one was really hoping that Cinderella would show up for her birthday party last weekend. So of course, I arranged for that. Cinderella not only did not compare, but I thought was horrible and a complete waste of money. She didn't do many of the things I was told that she would and she did absolutely NOTHING to make the kids comfortable with her or to involve them in the party. Instead, it was frankly as though she wasn't even there. I would have been better off getting a friend to dress up as Cinderella. When I called the company to let them know (i swear in a really nice way) that I was disappointed in how my daughter's birthday turned out, they didn't ask a single question about why. Instead, in an unbelievably rude tone, immediately said that I should be grateful that i got a "pretty girl" in a cinderella costume to travel through crazy traffic on a beautiful summer day. Um, isn't that their business and aren't I paying for that?!?!? The person who always answers the phone, Armand, didn't care what went wrong or how it could have been better. He railed into me for being disappointed. He said several times "you got a pretty girl" as though that's what it was all about and nothing else. Above all else, he was obnoxious and rude. He didn't even pretend to engage in any customer service. and, btw - i wasn't looking for anything. I just wanted to let them know that my experience this time was extremely disappointing compared to the last. By the end of the call, I was livid. So, fyi to you all who are considering a princess party - think twice about this company! What you get actress to actress varies tremendously and the company could care less about whether or not you were satisfied! read more

I just hired Elsa from Boston Princess Parties for my daughter's 5th birthday party in May. She was AMAZING!! We saw Cinderella by the same company a few months earlier, and fell in love! Emily came as Elsa and I can't say enough good things about her and the party. From the moment she walked in the door, all of the children were mesmerized! She focused all of her attention on the children which was great. She was in character from the moment she walked into the house...and even before walking in the yard with all the kids watching. She held their attention for the 1 1/4 hr she was here. Most of the girls were 5/6 and I think most believed she was the real Elsa. I'm sure as the girls get older, they will know she's not real, but she could have fooled me. I still believe! :) We are a Disney family, and had just seen Elsa in Disney World the month prior. I think Elsa from Boston Princess Parties, may have actually been a better Elsa than in Disney! I can't vouch for all their princesses, but Elsa was definitely great. She not only played the part, but had an AMAZING voice. She led the girls in two songs from the movie and she sang them beautifully. I believe all the princesses/characters are professional actresses and the quality is definitely there. She painted all the girls faces - again great quality and super fast! The girls all got Elsa, Anna or Olaf's on their faces but she offered to do so much more. She also did balloon shapes for the girls. I don't think there was anything she couldn't do! She led them in the Limbo and some other cute games. She stayed to sing happy birthday before leaving. I can't say enough good things about the company and the princesses. We hired PRINCESS ELSA for our daughters 4th birthday party with all of her cousins. She parked 1/4 mile down the street and walked to our house as to not raise questions of why she was driving a car :) The moment she walked through our gate she was high energy and just as lovely as you could hope for, for your little girls dream party! She engaged every child and started right in by singing the birthday girls favorite Frozen song.(She had a beautiful voice too!) The kids were in awe...they sang, danced, got their faces painted, had balloon wands and swords made and every child got a photo with Elsa. Elsa was truly like the character Giselle from the Disney Movie Enchanted! (another review had mentioned their princess was similar to her as well) My daughter went to bed talking about how Elsa loved her enough to come to her party and that she feels so lucky. All in all it was a wonderful experience AND the person we spoke to setting everything up was named Armond and was VERY helpful and efficient with scheduling and getting back to me. I believe Armond said our princess' real name was Samantha but I'm not positive as she went by Elsa even when talking with us. (There is another review on her from 2009 that does not paint this company in a good light....I know every situation is different, however; I wish that review could be deleted since it almost hindered me from contacting them which would have been a terrible mistake!!! I used this company for my daughter's 5th birthday party in January. January is freezing so I figured "FROZEN" theme would be fitting plus my daughter couldn't get over the movie. Elsa came to the party as a complete surprise to my daughter and guests. Everyone was so excited, kids and adults alike!! We had a photo booth so Elsa took pictures with everyone who wanted a picture. Elsa did sing-a-longs and dancing with the kids and adults who couldn't stay away LOL. She also did storytelling as well as face painting. She even helped us sing "Happy birthday". It was great! She had such a great rapport with everyone. I had kids there as young as 1 year and as old 12 and all were entertained, including the adults. All in all, a very good time and a very good Elsa! read more

I hired a Cinderella from Boston Princess Parties for my Daughter's 4th Birthday. Let me tell you she was AMAZING. Believe me, I had 20 kids at this party and she had control over all of them. They were so entertained and smiling the whole time. She played games with the kids, she did face painting and and balloon art. Sean she was really quite impressive and then her singing voice, well I was speechless. The parents and family commented on how wonderful she was. She really did an amazing job. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Armand might come off a little cocky, but I think if all his staff are like this then he has very good reason to be. We want to thank Boston Princess parties so much for Princess Elsa who came to our daughters 7th birthday party today. What an amazing job she did! The kids all loved her and had the best time singing, dancing, and getting their faces painted. She was excellent with the kids so sweet and really captured their attention. She stayed in character the whole time and she made sure to make all the kids feel special and the birthday girl feel extra special. We hired Elsa to entertain at my daughter's 3rd birthday party yesterday. She was absolutely AMAZING. The kids (approximately 30 kids between the ages of 2 and 5) were in awe of her. She had a beautiful voice and had every kid completely engaged. It was worth every penny to see the smiles on all of the kids' faces! Additionally, the transaction was very easy. The owner of the company was very pleasant to worth with, Elsa showed up right on time... I couldn't have been more satisfied with the experience! read more
