This is the worst woman I have ever met in my life. She robbed me of my deposit despite the fact she didn't do anything besides google things. I had to hire another planner who did the job in 3 weeks. I hired Veronica in May for my baby's birthday and 7 months later still nothing was done and she refused to give me back my money. She then texted me extremely threatening texts almost 3 months after my event to remove my one star review or she will sue me. She would then block me and then unblock me and continue to send threatening messages. This woman wants to keep her shady business practice behind wraps. She also threatened me about someone else leaving her a bad review. Her google reviews are mainly all one star reviews. She is the worst thing to ever happen to me. I wish I contacted the other party planning business before I came into contact with this evil person. I have included screen shots of her harassment. I have informed the police department and will take all legal measures should she continue to threaten and harass me. Her number is listed to show you she is the evil person behind these texts. Oh and she kept my money and did no work for what I paid her for. Keep that in mind. Google her. There is nothing but bad things written about her all over the internet let alone her google reviews. Oh wow, where do I begin? VERONICA YOU ARE A ROCKSTAR!!! It's been exactly 1 month since our wedding day at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, so this is long overdue! Being in the wedding industry myself, I am extremely picky about who to entrust on our big day. Having a wealth of contacts to plan our own wedding, we undoubtedly knew Veronica was THE ONE for us! From our first interview with her she was on point, meticulous and had a back up plan for our "back up plan". She listened to our needs and wedding vision, kept me motivated and on time with my checklists and truly "got it". From day one I conveyed to her that we were looking for a "bulldog" day of coordinator/Superwoman that could handle a large wedding party (11 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen), large family, out of towner guests and whatever drama might enfold. I wanted someone as detailed as I am, if not more but who truly cares and understands the entire process. We found all that in Veronica, and then some! Her attention to detail is above and beyond. She has her templates, checklists and timelines down to a science. The day of our wedding went off without a hitch (at least that I am aware of). That's what I call a GREAT day of coordinator. I was never concerned or bothered by things that came up because it was fixed before I even knew about it. She was there for us until the very end which was 1:00 AM and was so attentive and checked in on us often!! LOVE that! I can't say enough about Veronica and her team at Blue Ivy. We used her unlimited consulting and day of package and couldn't have been happier about it. After just a few Skypes, phone calls or emails, she has this great intuition about you as a couple, what you would like and wouldn't like. She'll help you answer any question - and even sort out personal matters that are wedding related. Her advice and opinion are so helpful throughout the course of planning the wedding. Wow. What can I say about Veronica, but she is an absolute dynamo. My new bride and I both work full-time, but are in our 40s and wanted to throw our own wedding. Enter Veronica. And what a wedding she planned. Veronica knows everybody in the business, and so she was able to connect us to all of the best vendors within our budget. We were thrilled with all of our vendors from the florist, to the photographer, to the lighting folks to the wonderful restaurant that hosted our reception. And Veronica even thought of all of the little things such as getting taxi vouchers for our guests who had had a little too much drink to drive home. I can't say how many of our guests have approached us to tell us that ours was the best wedding that they have ever been to. And all of this accomplished while keeping to our budget. Wow. Hiring Veronica doesn't mean that you kick back and relax until you show up on your wedding day. We had many a 3 hour phone meeting with her to discuss various details that we hadn't thought of and to get counsel on some thorny family matters that come up when you throw a wedding. Veronica is an absolute ALL-STAR, and to be honest, quite possibly superhuman. I could go on for days about why Veronica and Blue Ivy are untouchable in the quality of their work and their commitment to customer service, but here are just a few reasons: Veronica, Hannah, and the rest of Blue Ivy are incredibly committed to facilitating YOUR vision. For us, that was a very untraditional wedding in a raw space that required total transformation. We were obnoxiously picky about the venue, and Veronica and Hannah worked endlessly for 8+ months to find us the perfect space. They pursued every avenue, from contacting commercial real estate brokers about vacant warehouses to interfacing with the city council to discuss tenting a huge plaza in the middle of the city. In the end, they must have found over 100 options for us and never pressured us to just pick one. At one point, we had to make a decision between a raw warehouse space with no electricity and a sound stage that was fully equipped to handle all the production for our event. Clearly, going with the sound stage would've made her life much, MUCH easier. Veronica talked through the pros and cons of each space with us, but ultimately encouraged us to go with our gut and stay true to our original vision. This moment really speaks to the kind of person Veronica is because any other planner would've strongly discouraged us from pursuing an option that entailed SIGNIFICANT extra work and absolutely NO financial gain for her. We always knew beyond a doubt that Veronica had our best interest at heart in everything that she did. Veronica is also insanely talented and innovative as a designer. She understood our vision and was able to translate it into specifics-- she is truly an endless source of creativity. We were absolutely blown away by her artistry and originality. When it comes to design, she has incredible range. Words really cannot begin to describe, so I will let her photo galleries speak for themselves! Another thing that distinguishes Blue Ivy from other wedding planners is their commitment to getting you the best possible prices. Veronica is so respectful of your budget and consistently went to bat for us with vendors over prices (without us even asking). It didn't matter if it was $10 or $1,000, if she thought it wasn't a fair price, she wouldn't stop until she found a better price or talked the vendor down. Many of my other friends felt that their wedding planner up-sold them on everything-- not the case with Veronica. She was constantly thinking of ways to save money and helping us decide which purchases were worth it. To sum it up: There is no one else who has her creativity, passion, attention to detail, persistence, or work ethic. Period. End of story. From our initial phone interview with her through the wedding itself, Veronica cared as much (if not more!) than we did about our wedding. She worked tirelessly to make sure every detail was perfect and was always available by text, phone, email, Skype, etc. Her standards were higher than our own (I am pretty sure the word "settle" isn't in her vocabulary). When she revealed our reception room to us for the first time (which involved transforming a giant studio space into an enchanted forest), she had tears in her eyes-- that is how passionate she is about her work. My wife and I decided on a 90 person destination wedding in late December (Puerto Rico). She was great in whipping into shape businesses with a very laid back culture, and we were lucky enough to have a bilingual planner on our side. A few highlights: * We found a restaurant that was perfect for us, but not a party venue. With her persuasiveness, we were able to secure the restaurant and have a 5 course tasting meal for our guests with open bar at a reasonable price! * She led us to the best photographer, florist and DJ on the island. * We also had an emergency 8 days before the wedding: we lost the location for the ceremony (not the party). Blue Ivy provided "Day of" coordination for my New Years Eve wedding. After planning our wedding for about 6 months and working with a not so responsive coordinator at our venue, my husband and I were feeling really overwhelmed. We decided to seek out some help, which led us to Veronica from Blue Ivy. Veronica is no novice to the wedding planning business which was evident from our first meeting. She is incredibly organized and "on the ball" regarding just about everything that you do and don't think of for your wedding. She helped us organize our timeline for the day so that everything went smoothly, and helped see our vision for an elegant New Years Eve themed wedding come to light. Communication with Veronica was always prompt; she is extremely responsive at all hours of the day. Lindsay was our day of coordinator and ran our rehearsal dinner. It was honestly a blessing having Blue Ivy there. They took care of all the day of details including decorations, handing out tips, and even helped us deal with a difficult family member during the rehearsal.
