When I want to find a new card set or a special candle, this is were I go in Metro Detroit. Easier to get to since they relocated out of downtown Ferndale and more parking. Friendly staff that will find the answers for your questions. They also have lots of different stones, jewelry, and decor items. While I have not had a reading at the new location, they are done in a more private area. Never drink tea, so you will have to be the judge there. I stop by a couple times a year since you can over spend if you are not careful, but money well spent.

Not so easy to find using the Apple maps. It's best to turn into the parking lot off of Woodward Heights street. The store front is facing Goodrich street, but the door for the entrance and the parking is in the back lot off of Woodward Heights. It's in the industrial building complex. If you think it's the wrong lot, it's probably in the right direction then. It's in the corner of this L shaped complex. They moved into a larger space from their old spot on 9 mile, it's so spacious. They have almost a reception area when you first walk in and to the right is the shopping, the left side is for the tea room. They have a complementary tea for the day and it was an apricot tea tonight. I ended up getting a pot of tea that would need to be steeped, the fairytale tea. Any of the tea leaves in the jars are $2 for them to steep it for you. I ended up buying the tin can of the fairytale tea. It is $14 for a 2.5 ounce tin can of tea. This beautiful blue flowered tea kettle I was about to buy was $48, but my husband always likes to look anything I am about to buy up on amazon to see if he can find the same kettle or whatever item on Amazon before I buy them. He wants to make sure I don't overpay. He was able to track down the same kettle and color and style on Amazon for $23.99. It's hard to justify paying the $48 after seeing it on Amazon for $23.99. I had take a pass on the kettle. I did buy the can of tea, since the blend is unique here. The staff here are all super friendly and helpful and patient and accommodating.

Always a pleasant experience. Soothing music, nice incense smells, no pressure sales, polite and knowledgeable staff, and a large variety of beautiful handmade and natural and organic items for healing and aligning with self. Tarot cards, wands, pendulums, pendants, soaps, jewelry, statues and talisman... you can find something here to treat yourself or a friend

Best spiritual shop in the area. Tons of educational books, crystals, stickers, candles, you name it.

Huge selection of gifts, including some fun Schitt's Creek stuff and Golden Girls, and also lots of candy and chocolate. They had Coffee Crisp which surprised me, it's a Canadian chocolate bar and I've never seen it outside of Canada. They are still requiring masks as of right now (6/13/21) which was nice, also. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it's a bit pricey - most of the gifts I saw were $9.99 and up, for small things, and they had some Sanders one-piece chocolates for 75c (I've seen them 25-50c in other stores). Otherwise, this was a fun store to browse and I will be back at some point.

Add that right wingers would leave the place with anger and a big headache, you have a place I am glad to live near and EBS would have dropped lots of cash. I keep coming back for the fruit slices that are thicker than Macy's. I also like the selection of retro candy from my distance past childhood. I had to buy a birthday present for one of those "hard-to-buy" 20s generation so I knew I could get some cool stuff she would love. I found some socks, a note pad to write down her evil thoughts, and tennis shoes erasers. Even a bag for the introvert she is to put it all in. She loved all of it and wanted to know where the store this store is located. They have their Christmas stuff out and a warning that some of it would not have been on your grandmother's tree unless your grandma was like a 1960s hippie. Worth the drive just to come here, but you also get to enjoy the other shops in beautiful downtown Ferndale. Parking on the street, lots in the back, and other lots around the downtown. $1 an hour.

They don't have to buy anything and so you better kiss their behinds. Even if they don't want anything they might feel bad for you because you were so nice. 2) The prices need to be low enough to justify buying something useless. 3) You have to gave good stuff that people want, though they don't need. Also, it helps to have things that one has never seen before and thus must purchase it because they may never see it again. Well, Scout is a nice enough store. The store sells kitch, curios and art. The inside is nice and bright. There are some interesting items, but nothing that I can't live without. Also, I've seen a lot of the same items around the area. The prices were probably comparable but were still pricey. I don't think there was anything for less than $10 or I didn't find it. I give Scout 3 stars because the lady behind the counter was not very friendly or helpful. When I walked into the store she didn't acknowledge me right away or ask if I needed anything. Instead she just talked to a friend for almost the whole 15 minutes we were in there. I was the first to say hello as I entered. Eventually, she engaged us in conversation a little, but it wasn't the friendliest of conversations. Scout had some unique gift ideas and art pieces. Over all the quality stuff was very expensive. The rest could probably be purchased at other stores of a similar nature. I don't really have a reason to go back here.
