We were blown away by the incredibly well made jewelry items, kids products, masks, and quirky collectables. My sister found a great selection of gifts for her twin daughters ( 3) in particular cat mermaid aprons with cooking accessories. I got them a massive play kitchen last Holiday season, so this was a perfect find! The store is also inside an adorable pink house ( Great for photo ops) I LOVE all the unique gifts, especially all the made in Michigan gifts. Being from Michigan and living in California, I LOVE showing my MI pride out of state. Yesterday I was waiting for takeout from Noori so I stopped by. I'm not a huge fan/reader of comic books but I love pop culture and movies. I ended up buying a large Totoro movie poster for my fiance - all of their posters are only $11.99, which I thought was a good price. They also have manga and other types of books here. I discovered this shop about a month ago and have visited three times since, making purchases on…read moreeach visit. I always bring my girlfriend with me when I come in. However, I've noticed a consistent pattern that's made me increasingly uncomfortable. Each time we're in the store, the staff behaves as if we're being watched closely--asking if we want items held at the counter or having an employee follow us under the pretense of folding shirts while we browse. I've spent over $100 here so far and don't appreciate being treated with suspicion. Having worked in retail myself, I'm familiar with the signs of someone being monitored because they're assumed to be stealing, and that's how it feels every time I shop here. I really like the shop's selection--especially the Jellycats--but there are other local stores that carry similar products. I'm willing to give the shop one more chance, but if I experience this same treatment again, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Lots of nice authentic artwork to see and appreciate, definately NOT MADE IN CHINA, where my personal favorites were their large Christmas ornament selection and their glassware. To that end, I ended up buying a couple beautiful whiskey glasses to add to my bar collection with the Polish Eagle engraved on the heavy weight glass. These glasses are visually stunning and will be very much appreciated and a talking point for my extended Polish family. (: Whether you are Polish or not, there is so many nice/beautiful things to see at this store that you should definately check it out if you are in the area. In a world that is full of cheap junk/trinkets that are mass produced a store like this stands out for both its quality and beauty and should not be missed if you are in the area. The reason I support local stores is because it's the right thing to do. After today though, I see…read morewhy most people support bigger stores. I got to the mall for a release of a sought after item at 9:00 a.m. store was to open at 10:00 a.m. this store has two doors. What this store also has is no education handling crowd central. They allowed people in the twenties to wait inside (most logical) and then we found out there was an even longer line outside. When we tried to tell the store this a woman who is usually mean on a good day scoffed at us and only yelled though the door that she would be opening both doors at once (a safety issue) this woman is a middle aged woman with her hair up and I think it was green. She has never been kind. Today was worse. She made it her goal to let the other people in first even though we did the right thing by standing outside the store in the mall. There was a two limit per person (a joke) as people in line were calling the other outside line as families were manning both lines with multiple people per family to buy two per everyone in their party. So most families passed the "system" and worked both lines. What's the worst part of all of this? The owner Jenna was there during all of this. It could have been civilized. It could have been organized. A number per person. Staff calming people down. Not having three and under children working when you have two lines to get through. I can't recommend this store any longer. Nothing about today showed that they cared about fairness. And for the horrible employee with the green bun, you work in a toy store have some compassion towards others. You are always angry and awful to approach and you are the last reason this store lost a customer today. You are simply cruel in an unusual way.

They're even many educational flash cards and books for children. I was even able to pick up an adult coloring book for myself. Regardless of whatever you buy they'll wrap your purchased items which is great because I can't wrap a gift to save my life. The service is very friendly and the overall atmosphere is nice. It's great to still see some toy stores around, especially since nowadays you can simply buy toys online on Amazon or other retailers. However If you're looking for some fun toys or gifts for any kids I think it's worth stopping by.
