Buyer Beware! I purchased Himalayan Salt and a large bottle of oil. I never received the salt. They are stating that both the 5kg bag of salt and oil were in this box. This is exactly how it came. No shipping supplies what so ever. They labelled it as a 13 lb box as well! There is something very scammy about this company. I have emailed them and they asked for a pic of the box and what came in it. I sent exactly this and they tell me the shipper remembers putting everything in this box. Clearly an 11 lb bag of Himalayan Salt would not fit in this box. I'm furious, they are outright calling me a liar and that I received the salt and the oil. Sounds to me like the shipper needed a bag of salt. Well Raj guess what ? I hope stealing it was worth it! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I do not believe it is legit at all! read more

Terrible company practices and customer services! Ordered organic products, they came in unprofessionally and incorrectly labelled - and some leaky - bottles, which immediately caught my attention. Further study of their questionable COA's and MSDS's and statement from manager reveals cut-and-paste info and a refusal to provide originating documents, citing "confidentiality"!! Vague claims of "...We sell it to so many aromatherapists and so many cosmetic companies in Canada and USA but no one has questioned the products. Lots of the big companies in aromatherapy (don't wanna mention the names I think you already know) buy from us and they turn around and sell it at 20X more prices then we do..." do little to convince me of their trustworthiness or quality of their products. I ordered online about 3 business days ago and had read the very mixed which worried me, but at the same time no other place carries perfumer's alcohol without crazy shipping and handling costs. Today I picked up my purchase, they were very friendly, speedy and efficient. If all my purchases could be this fast, that would be amazing. Such a nightmare. I have been a regular customer for a while and spend a lot of money here. My husband drove to pick up my order yesterday as they are only open week days and walk in pick up ends at 4:30. He had to drive from Innisfil right after work and due to traffic arrived at 4:32. 2 minutes late. They were still working and open until past 5 pm. They refused to give my husband my order because of the TWO MINUTES. I receive a call the next day after I emailed them and all I got was "I don't know why that happened". I ordered several bottles of oil from them. The package arrived, and they were on the bottom of the box, no bubble wrap, no protective tape on the lids, and no safety seal at all! I sent an email regarding my concerns, and received no reply. I won't be ordering from them agan. I give them 2 stars for the other products I ordered, and their speedy delivery. Literally no cutomer satisfaction skills whatsoever. Been buying from their brick and mortar store out in Brampton for a year. Spent hundreds of $$$ there. Couldn't have been more of a model customer. Due to lockdowns, ordered online for the first time. Literally 3 days after I placed my order, I was browsing the site again to see if I can buy some new things and noticed they changed the prices on all of the items I had bought, making them now nearly half the price of what I had paid. After calling them up to question why the change on such notice, the lady put the phone down on me TWICE and proceeded to tell me I couldn't complain because they are allowed to "make changes without notice". Please note these were NOT sale items. For such a big company, I expected some sort of consistency in their supply prices. I ordered some DIY ingredients here not long ago. I placed the order & after 3 days I still hadn't heard back from them as to when my order would be shipped. So I emailed them. I got a response back right away & my order was delivered the next day. I like that they are in Brampton & I like that they don't have a minimum order amount.They have some items that aren't available at other wholesale websites & some are at better prices. I'm not sure about the promptness of the order process because I prodded them for answers. Am I being too impatient? I will have to make another order in the future to see what their customer service is really like. So for now I'm giving them 3 stars. read more

Buyer beware!!! I have only purchased from New Directions in the past and have nothing but amazing things to say. I wish I could say the same about this company. I purchased about $160 worth of essential oils that are now useless. I was unable to return the products because I opened them to try them/smell them. It was only then when I realized they had the most potent, foul smell that overpowered the "vanilla", "chamomile" or "sandalwood" essential oil. It appears all 3 are a bad batch, diluted or incorrectly labeled. I am no newbie to essential oils. So be cautious and keep in mind that if you open you are stuck with no customer service to make things right. I also had to buy a new diffuser as the scent from the above oils will not leave the diffuser. I tried bleach, vinegar, even citrus oil to remove the smell and nothing worked. I am extremely disappointed and now I know where I will be doing business from here on out. read more

I've dealt with this company quite a few times over about ten years, and will keep coming back. Others commenting negatively on their customer service is surprising, since I've had only good experiences. We all have the odd 'bad day', I guess... The products I continue to buy are all top quality at good prices. Their selection of herbs is extensive and well worth exploring. Much fresher and more robust than packaged teas. Packaging for shipping is in standard containers or sealed bags, and everything has arrived in perfect condition and really quite fast, considering the flat rate and the long distance. I had a question about their perfume solubizer liquid so I sent an email through their communication system. They did not respond. A week later I once again asked questions, and followed up the email askng them to please reply. Once again, no response. These experiences tell me all I need to know about this crummy company.
