Over our stay we tried multiple items (only got a picture of a couple of dishes though): Seafood pasta - great menu item, but bland Soup of the day - every night it was tomato bisque. We would have loved some variety Eggs, toast, potatoes and bacon (Double) - what else is there to say, pretty standard. Nothing special Oatmeal - Horribly bland and no accompaniments Buffalo Chicken Naan Bread - the chicken was fried which we didn't particularly care for and that too the oil tasted old giving that bitter taste. Had they used maybe the butter chicken instead, I think it would have been so much better Sweet Chili Cauliflower Bites - We actually enjoyed this one! No complaints Grilled Chicken Alfredo - bland and flavorless Tonic Butter Chicken with tofu sub - decent Primavera Frittata - bland It's like the chef is allergic to salt or something. Almost nothing was seasoned right. I will say, we were also not fans of how limited the breakfast options are for hotel guests and the fact that there wasn't anything that we could grab and go for mornings we had to leave early for a day trip. The server's were attentive in keeping coffee refilled and asking if we wanted water or juice replenished. We parked under the hotel and the server let us know the ($28) parking was validated. For some reason I had looked at an old price list and was expecting to pay 30 dollars a head. It actually came to $55 a person. If you are going in with a good appetite this is reasonable. There is a huge variety of beautiful quality foods and drinks are included. Our visiting guest from another city thought the ambiance was lovely. The platter was two pieces small pieces of brisket, 4 ribs and a quarter of a chicken. The brisket (the best of the food) was lukewarm, a tiny serving and under seasoned - what is with places that don't provide salt at the table???? The ribs were underdone, I don't need the meat to fall off the bone but I would like to be able to bite off all the meat and I couldn't, and even though there was only four ribs, we could only eat three. The chicken was a very bland and cold. Each item was supposed to be a different type of barbecue but you couldn't tell the difference between barbecue flavours from one item to the next. They did serve sauces but they too were underwhelming and didn't make the food better. The side of kimchi coleslaw was basically a poor mixture of purple and white cabbage with no taste, no where near what kimchi is supposed to be like. The fries were good but the ketchup was house made and tasted like basic ketchup with too much 5 spice powder - yuck. I'm still angry and disappointed that we spent $150 (we didn't have alcohol) and went home hungry and mad. We will never be back. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the server, the owner came out and became confrontational and aggressive. He raised his voice, saying I could "tell him what I am not satisfied with." Then he offered a refund, which I immediately declined, and afterward snatched a package of coffee from the counter and offered it as compensation. I refused again--it felt more like an insult than a genuine apology. After we posted our reviews, the owner privately messaged my friend, asking us to remove them and citing the "small Chinese community" as a reason we should support each other. That's incredibly manipulative. Using community guilt to pressure customers into deleting honest feedback is inappropriate and only reinforces our negative experience. I will not be returning.
