    Butter Chicken

Food overall is just alright. Middle of the road for a restaurant in a hotel, it's not bad but not great either. Service was okay. Ambiance is nice for watching sports and having a casual dining experience. Crème brûlée wasn't all the way torched, very light layer of sugar. Mostly just custard. The butter chicken was alright, could've been more flavorful. The bao was thick and a bit doughy in proportion to the other ingredients. 6/10

Could not have had a better experience here! Enjoyed brunch and then dinner while staying at Hotel Clique. Both meals featured great food, generous portions and fair pricing. For brunch we both ordered the Hanger meal that had a bit of everything I want in a breakfast: eggs, toast, potatoes, all the meats (small portions of ham, bacon and a sausage) and even two triangles of French Toast. It was game over for hunger! The beef dip dinner featured very tender beef and a tasty au jus. The chicken tika masala had a good medium spicyness and featured nice chunks of tomatoes and onions with the juicy chicken.

French toast with bacon, poached eggs and fruit - very good!

We stayed at the adjacent hotel before flying out the next morning. Decided to look this restaurant up on Yelp which showed terrible reviews. We moved onto Google as that's where more Canadians and Europeans review establishments. That had great reviews so we gave it a try. We all enjoyed the waitstaff, atmosphere, beverages and appetizer and our mains. I suggest you give it a try.

TASTY! We had a quick stay at the hotel and this was the restaurant there. Had the tonic burger for dinner with fries and a side salad. Burger was big and juicy with fresh toppings. The french fries were super crispy. The side salads were fresh with crunchy croutons, cheese and bacon. The dressings, Caesar and balsamic, were tasty, but the bowls are deep and a little hard to eat out of. Breakfast came with our room. Had the frittata with mushrooms, broccoli, onions, and cheese with a side of potatoes and toast. It was delicious. The potatoes were crunchy and the toast was hot and buttery. Coffee was great. Would definitely recommend

Decided to eat here since it was in the hotel and I am happy we did. My wife got the Cobb salad and loved it. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the ranch dressing very good. I ordered the Tonic Burger and it was delicious!!! We finished the meal off with cheesecake and a berry topping. Perfect meal and great service. I took a picture of the food and drink but only the drink made it to my phone.

Stopped in for lunch while I was waiting for my room to be ready. Food was solid. I had the Cobb salad and a beer. The salad could have had a little more lettuce but I'm American and used to huge salads.

Outer space and Bloody Mary. Both perfect

We got stuck overnight in Calgary because we missed our connection. We were super frustrated, tired and stressed out but thanks to this place with its amazing food, drinks and customer service it made the stay so much more enjoyable. Can't believe such a good restaurant was hidden in a hotel like this.

I wanted to try this place as I liked the hotel vibe. Server was friendly and well polished. The restaurant was empty as it was mid afternoon. I ordered French onion soup and the chicken Parmesan sandwich. The food quality was mediocre, the groceries on the sammy weren't the freshest. The soup tasted like balsamic vinegar which I didn't enjoy. My friend got the beef dip which was okay. Coffee wasn't the best as we went to Tim Hortons afterwards. No real complaints but nothing to write home about. Service was great!

I think I tasted my least favourite burger ever here! We ordered their "signature item" the "Tonic Burger" and were really unimpressed. It didn't taste good at all and the fries were tasteless. Definitely not worth the $18.00. The gentleman who was working there was extremely pleasant though!

Meh food and they make you pay an extra $1.50 to refill a soda. There was also trash all on the floor and a wobbly table

There's usually a great deal of variation between one visit and the next... even within one visit... That being said, when it's good its EXCELLENT and when it's bad its like "where am I and what is this place?". Let's call it the YYC lounge lottery for now.. Huge bonus points for the sophisticated and complete gluten free menu. I've been glutarded from a very young age and have often found myself sidelined to a salad bar while everyone else feasts on whatever delicious things they want.. This restaurant is a progressive one (in the dietary sense). Service is good. Sometimes. Other times its just awful. Again with the lottery. Luck is a fickle mistress. Now my pet peeve that is consistent across all my visits here (dozens and dozens of visits): This hotel has a large business traveler component. That includes me, and my associates. Every time I check into the Delta (with its itty bitty rooms), the last thing one wants to do is sit in your cramped room all night with your laptop and various electronic devices that are corporate necessities. Far more preferable would be to go down to the YYC lounge and have a few drinks and eat, and work on some tasks on your laptop/ipad/tablet/cell phone.. BUT, the management here seems to have completely overlooked the fact that these devices need electricity.. There isn't a single electric outlet to be found., So after a long flight, with your devices all discharged, you either have to sit right at the bar (often fully occupied), or sit and wait for a full charge in your room before you can come down and relax. This is HIGHLY inconvenient.. When I asked them why they mumbled something about "safety". Puleezee, wake up and smell the 2014.. Starbucks and coffee shops and Denny's and all sorts of restaurants world wide that are with the times often have many outlets available to customers.. So if you're going to lie, at least lie convincingly. I know it may seem like a simple thing, but when you're exhausted and just want to chillax in a lounge, the last thing you want to be worrying about constantly is how you're going to keep your devices charged (for whatever reason you're using them).. To sum it up, nothing I've mentioned here is a deal breaker. I will continue flying through YYC and stay at the Delta and drink at the YYC lounge at night.. I just want to say it like it is and point out that just like the aging and decaying YYC airport, this lounge could stand to get with the times as well. PS: Try the chicken wings, they rock

We visited twice during our vacation in Calgary and we loved the vibrant feel and tried several items on their expansive menu. Wide array of cocktails to choose from. My husband enjoyed Penicillin which is a mix of Johnnie Walker black, honey, ginger, lemon, lagavulin peated whiskey. My daughter savored her Brazilian Lemonade which is a mix of rum, whole lime, and sweetened condensed milk. I had a Virgin Mojito which was refreshing. Another time I tried another zero-proof drink. I believe it was called Hey Hibiscus. Delicious appetizers that we enjoyed were: *Creole Crab & Spinach Dip served with corn tortilla chips. *Chili Citrus Calamari is crispy fried, sprinkled with chilis, szechuan peppercorn, and served with a citrus dip. *Truffle Fries freshly fried seasoned with truffle, herbs, grana padano, and served with garlic aioli. The main entrees were shareable too and we were delighted with the Peppercorn Ribeye which is this 45 day aged 14oz CAB® ribeye in brandy peppercorn sauce and served with buttered mashed potatoes and green beans. The healthier choices did not disappoint either: *Avocado Kale Salad with Salmon was delicious with crispy chickpeas, grilled avocado, pickled red cabbage, fennel chili crumb, grana padano, and lemon garlic dressing. *Szechuan Lettuce Wraps was this generous portion of chicken (our choice) in sweet and spicy szechuan glaze, sprinkled with a good amount of peanuts, wontons, korean chili sauce, and spicy yogurt. *Tuna Temaki was new on the menu and described as ocean wise™ ahi, toasted sesame, cucumber, serrano pepper, nori, green onion. We all wish we had a Cactus Club Cafe in the US. Google says they have one in Miami. Come to the San Francisco Bay Area with your solid 5 quality food, service and your upbeat, energetic and welcoming vibe!

Kind, well-spoken, gentle, efficient, always a smile on her face and she went above and beyond. I had a 12:15 pm reservation. Unfortunately a group was taking much longer than expected. I waited over 30+ mins to be seated and so yes, I could've made a scene, but that wouldn't be me. Phoebe could've just let things be ... you know? Because "it is what it is". But she didn't. Once she seated me and my friend, she offered to take photos for me and of me. SO thoughtful! She also brought me a beautiful ice cream with a sparkling candle in it. SO sweet! She smiled at me every time she walked by almost as a way to make sure I was doing OK and feeling good. She was WAY more attentive than our female server who looked, sounded and acted like she couldn't leave work soon enough. Wasn't going to let her dampen my birthday though... Food tasted good. Presentation was beautiful. The male server who took over was SUPERB. Genuinely happy to "close out" our transaction with him. He was super attentive and willing to make everything go well. Thank you, Phoebe and male server for making my birthday memorable. XO

You only have about 5 or 6 spaces since it seems like the rest of the spaces have a "no parking" sign in front of each space... wtf... The place was nicely decorated and quaint. Loved the vibe. We walked in at 8am, opening time, and there were two parties sitting already. We got seated and looked at the menu. Our waitress was very friendly and mentioned that the Queens Breakfast, and the Montreal Smoked Brisket were the popular dishes. I decided on the Omelette Al Tartufo and my wife decided on the Montreal Smoked Brisket with Poached Egg. The Omelette Al Tartufo was good. Had a good earthy taste of the truffle. They had truffle paste so a hint of real truffle was there. There was a bit of melted cheese in there but there was a good balance. My wife had the Montreal Smoked meat with poached egg, which was also good. Pastrami-like protein with a poached egg, presented in a croissant. Very good, but very filling. Eat this, and you won't be having lunch! All in all, good food, and good service.
