Dr. Botti is a very down to earth kind of guy. Easy to talk too which helps break the ice during appointments. I've been seeing him for a couple of years now and his approach to adjustments have been so beneficial to my everyday life. Most recently I have had a locked jaw issue that kept me in pain for almost a month and within a couple of sessions he had relieved my jaw tension and pain was significantly less. In my experience, Botti Chiropractic and Wellness will turn away potential and existing patients with HMO insurance even though Botti is contracted as an HMO provider. Botti unprofessionally complained about the HMO insurance and wouldn't fill out the authorization form to get visits approved. This was both humiliating and upsetting. Once approved by HMO and after several visits, they refused care without paying cash upfront because they hadn't been paid by HMO yet; it hadn't even been 30 days. This was discovered after wasting time to drive 30 minutes to get there. Medical professionals are aware of the racial disparities that exist in medical care regardless of insurance or income bracket. They are also aware that HMO enrollment rates are higher among Black and Latino people, as well as lower income levels. This treatment of people with HMO results in even more black, Latino, and lower income people having more medical challenges, less access to healthcare, and inequality that is perpetuated in a racist system. By refusing to see HMO patients, this chiropractor is not only violating his contract agreement with HMO, (according to the HMO rep that urged that a complaint be filed), but he is also taking part in systemic racism and discrimination in medical treatment. read more

I heard back from the office a week after I left a voicemail. When I got the call back, I booked an appointment and gave my insurance information explaining I wasn't sure about coverage. She wasn't very helpful and said she would run my insurance information when I walked into the office. I had to call Aetna to make sure I would be covered to avoid an appointment cancellation fee. I walked into the office for my appointment and the staff was not wearing masks. She put it on as she was checking me in. I was in the office for less than 2 minutes. I was turned away because Aetna is my provider. Apparently there is a delay in payments from Aetna so they are not accepting clients. I should've been told when I made the appointment over the phone. I had to take time off of work to come in. Btw, Botti has a contract with Aetna until 8/31/2020. Aside from sub par office admins, choosing to accept only clients with insurance providers and plans that are beneficial and convenient for him is ethically immoral. read more

If you want a chiropractic package where you pre-pay for thousands of dollars of treatments promising to fix you- this is not the place for you. There's no gimmicks here. So disappointed. I never even made it to the office. Scheduled appointment easily online for two days later. Took a half day so that I could make it to initial appointment. Received a call with voicemail 30 mins before my scheduled appointment stating that the doctor was unavailable due to a meeting. When I called back the woman was pretty nonchalant about the whole thing and asked if I wanted to reschedule. If roles were reversed I would have likely been asked to pay for late cancellation. After weeks of putting off the consultation I finally met Dr. Botti. The office is always very clean and the staff is very professional and nice. Before meeting Botti, I met the clinical, Debbie. May I say that she is awesome!!! After weeks of therapy prior to Botti, I was still having issues with my back. The receptionist had told me on my first visit that Dr. Botti can tell a person what is wrong with him/her just by looking at them, as he had done that with her. And on my very first visit, he was spot on about the cause of my back pain... which later an MRI confirmed. He's kind, smart, and he listens. He actually wants you to get better, and doesn't give up on you. Had I listened to all of his advice earlier, I would have gotten better much more quickly. Husband went in to see him from the amazing reviews we saw online, seems like a nice guy, great personality and all. So did the lovely lady in front. Before even going in to see him, we asked if there would be any copay or billing beforehand as we did not want any surprises in the mail. They told me it's a consultation, there is no charge, i had to ask them about my insurance and if it will cover, they told me there would be no charge, I said ok it's a consultation that's great. We went in, for about 15 minutes, he said it was nothing major just that he's sleeping on one side only and causing him some neck strain and walked right out. Went up to front and asked AGAIN. They said no charge, I said ok, we scheduled some appointments for some neck problems.. no info on the charge or copay for future appointments of course, I HAD TO DO THE RESEARCH.. I had to call my own insurance and check myself.. it wasn't until I found out the details of the copay and such that I called them back to cancel all the appointments (financial issues had us not going through with the appointments) and cancelled way ahead of time from the other ones. They never told me what covered and didn't cover.. or that We would get a bill in the mail for the first damn consultation in the first place.. insane.. communication is key for these things.. please... PLEASE.. let your customers know their copay and what their insurance covers and doesn't cover so they don't get a surprise later on.. read more

I began experiencing an issue with my hands in April of 2013, and after years of doctors telling me that there was nothing 'surgically' wrong and I had no real options for treatment, I began seeing Cindy in late November of 2017. After a few treatments, Cindy was able too determined the issue was more than just my hands and wrists. Over the span of about two months I have felt a significant improvement, all thanks to the providers here. This review is for the massages. I've been here at least 4 times for the 1 hour masaage and have never been disappointed. (I do the Groupon). The therapists are excellent and listen to you and what you need. I'd go 5 stars but because it's also a Chiropratic office, there's often a bit of chit chat going on in the halls. They need to remind the clients to be quieter chatting when massages are in session :). And, they stopped Saturday massages - boo.. For a long time (years), I suffered with chronic and debilitating back/neck/leg pain. One day, I woke up in a lot of pain and could hardly walk. My husband insisted that I try chiropractic care. Upon my initial call to Botti Chiropractic, I explained my situation. Dr. Botti told me to come right in and that he'd fit me in his schedule. Dr. Botti did a comprehensive evaluation and obtained information on my medical history. After treatment, my debilitating pain was relieved and I was able to walk. Dr Botti provided me with proper body mechanic information. The following weeks of follow up care allowed me to resume my regular activities. I had abdominal surgery Sept. 23rd 2013. After the surgery I immediately developed intractable hiccups. Every 5 seconds for 7 months. Traditional medicine could not resolve this issue. I sought out the help of Dr. Botti because of his experience in alternative medicine. He developed a game plan that consisted of acupunture , massage therapy , Electric muscle stimulation , cervical adjustments , and thru a pain specialist affilate , a pherenic nerve block. I have been going to this office since March 2014. The first thing you notice walking in is the clean, professional atmosphere and the friendly staff. Common courtesy is at at an all time low in society in my opinion but the staff here never seem to have a bad day. I really appreciate that. Being a former massage therapist, I was very impressed not only with the professionalism, but the skill that the therapists possess. Everything from draping to communicating about pressure, to technique to "tableside" manner etc is very well done. As for Dr. Botti himself, he is kind, professional and very good at communicating with patients - which includes being a good listener. He will assess progress and adjust treatment regularly according to your needs. Another plus is that he is devoid of the "God Complex" that some doctors end up with. He will never talk down to you or assume you can't understand something. Also they do bill insurance though I am not sure which ones they are in network with. I woke one day last week in severe pain in my neck, and back. I suffered for five days my norco 10 would hardly ease the pain. I finally went to see DR BOTTI. However, after I gave birth, I continued getting adjustments from him and performed the physical exercises, but nothing was helping the excruciating pain. When I asked him how he knew what was wrong with me without taking an x-ray, he became visibly defensive and referred me to a clinic. Came back with the x-ray, and he basically said "uh-oh - I can't adjust you, you have the beginning stages of scoliosis!" I left defeated and hopeless. Thankfully I have a good network and was able to find a chiropractor who helped me, and I'm back to normal now (no pun intended). 3-star review reflects the poor follow-through (another chriopractor was able to "fix" me), but also the excellent customer service.
