We came for a late lunch, at 3pm or so. While other restaurants were closed for the afternoon, we…read morewere greeted very friendly and got an outside table in the center of beautiful Lazise. We had Caprese, Tris de Tartar of three different kinds of fish, and Tagliatelle al tartufo. All ingredients were fresh and prepared very tasty, and though my Italian is very poor, the friendly waiter did his best to communicate with a mix of German, English and of course Italian. Apart from that, the place looked very well maintained; obviously they spend a lot on furniture, dishes and utensils, what you cannot find everywhere. Unfortunately, during our stay at Lake Garda, there was no chance to return, however, I look for an opportunity to go back to Lazise at least for one night and a dinner at Vecchia Dogana.
