I saw the great reviews here for Chinook Bottle Depot and thought I'd check them out. The first thing I noticed is how quiet the machines were-no yelling to talk to the attendant. She gave me the exact amount for my bottles! And no line-ups! The second time I went, a man working there came out, brought a cart to my car, and helped me fill it up w/ my bottles. I've NEVER had this happen at any other depot. They have earned my patronage, and I will be driving the extra km to come here! Very impressed :)

Service is quick with some vending machines, shopping carts, ok parking and self pay out which is nice. Overall avoid on weekends during mornings but overall expect to wait 10-15 minutes.

I went in and out in less than 5 mins. You head to a counter and the guy just sorts and counts really fast. Wow he is surly a pro. After he is done counting, he will give you a card where you head to a machine to redeem. They are awesome. Definitely WOW.

It took over three weeks for them to get the parts and another week to book the repair. They have delayed our repair twice already this week due to short staffing. It's been over a month now with no dishwasher and we are beyond frustrated at constantly being bumped. I realize that people get sick etc. but at some point they need to pay overtime and do the work as promised. Calls to a manager are not returned. Trail Appliances needs to find a better contractor.

The reason I called was to get a bunch of tall cans for a Guinness World Record attempt that requires me to throw frisbee at cans. All of the other depots weren't helpful and some were in fact quite rude. However, Dean, the manager at the North Hill depot was super friendly and helpful and after explaining to him last week what I needed, he called me back today and said they were ready to be picked up. I can't thank Dean enough - without his help I don't know where I would have gotten the cans for my Guinness World Record attempt. Thanks again Dean!!
