With a culinary education from around the world, she brought her expertise and talents to DC and eventually back home to Evans. In 2020 she took home the Champion Title for Chopped Sweets and from there has continued to excel in all she does. She not only has the bakery location, but does custom cakes and owns the resturant Salty Tomatoes in Aiken (SC). Her and her team are unstoppable! Now let's talk about my favorites. Everything. The best little bakery in Evans! I highly recommend the oatmeal raisin and brown crinkle cookies. The cinnamon rolls are crazy big and the cream cheese icing is delicious! I've tried most of the cakes, and have such a hard time deciding which is best. The gooey bars and millionaire bars are phenomenal. You really can't go wrong with anything you try. read more

I've seen this on Augusta Yelp Instagram and we were actually in the area today, so we swung by. The location is a bit hard to find and if I didn't know what the sign front looked like from the IG page, then we honestly would have easily missed it. The bakery cases are full of visually appealing treats, but I wish they had signs indicating what each bakery piece was for the customers to see. The staff are friendly and patient, especially with my kiddos (and picky husband), and for that I appreciate them. We ordered a chocolate croissant, cookie butter cupcake and an Oreo cupcake. We realized after the fact that we got a regular croissant and went back to exchange it because my pregnant self was very sad. They gave us a chocolate croissant in exchange, no problem! The chocolate croissant was very nice. I imagine it'd be divine warmed up. The Oreo cupcake was really pleasant. The actual cupcake was moist and flavorful, with a marble effect and we'd recommend this one! The cookie butter one wasn't a fan among us. The icing was incredible, sweet but not the burning your throat kind of sweet, however the actual cupcake was slightly dry and crumbly. I absolutely love taking a trip over to Bottom Line. I originally found them because someone at work brought their cinnamon rolls to share. They were absolutely delicious! I'll be honest at one point I planned my Saturday around going to get those buttery rolls. I even got my family hooked. Once I got my addiction under control I ventured over to the bakery case to try one of everything. In my defense, I did bring the case desserts home to share. The family favorite was the chocolate crème brûlée. Since conquering my addiction to the rolls I've been able to take classes to work on cake decorating and yes they even have a class on how ti make those addicting cinnamon rolls. I've got many more things to try and classes to take at bottom line but for now here are a few things to help you enjoy your experience. 1. GO GET A CINNAMON ROLL- I promise it won't disappoint. If you have a family get everyone their own. While you can surely share it, I most certainly won't share mine. 2. They feature sandwiches. I love their breakfast Sammie's with some kind of fancy cheese and BACON!! 3. The classes are extremely affordable and you will learn something new each time. Just think you are paying maybe $35 for the class and you get to use all the ingredients that they use to produce their products. So you're getting top notch quality, instruction, and the instructors are very helpful and friendly. 4. They offer a selection of coffee options. 5. I really wish I would have came here earlier, caught them right before closing but the staff was amazing and the food selection was too much to process. They had all kinds of things I had never heard of and many other commonly known treats with a twist. I grabbed a few cakes and treats but half of them were eaten before I could grab any photos, but they were all amazing! They are fine, and different interpretations can be hit or miss for me. I tried the kitchen sink brownies at BL, and they are easily the best I've ever had. Cookies, cheesecake squares, lemon squares and raspberry bars- all warrant you giving them a taste. However the stars of the show IMO, are the cakes. I asked for a Harry Potter cake for my 10 year old son and I got the worse looking and tasting cake I've ever had. My six-year-old could've done a better job writing those letters. The cake was a poundcake instead of vanilla appeared to have jam instead of a raspberry filling. read more

Got to check out Bottom Line Bakery today for a Yelp Elite Event. Me and my husband were the first two customers. We were greeted by the two employees and explained to what delicious sweets were available. My husband ordered a caramel frappe, I ordered a caramel latte with oat milk. They had so many things to choose from. I ended up getting a lemon bar, a kitchen sink brownie and I got a chocolate chip cookie for my 4 year old at home. We all tasted the cookie and were all a big fan. It was soft and delicious. The lemon bar was also delicious and tart. The brownie is a winner and will definitely be going back to order more desserts and try the cakes. While waiting on our drinks they had samples of a mint cake and that was also very good, even my husband liked it and he isn't much of a sweets eater. Highly recommend trying this Bakery. read more

I wanted a cake for a Marine retirement for the first week in August. I inquired in person and online July 9th. I was told they could make the cake. I sent pictures via email and had a conversation with the owner. Fast forward to July 21st I send her the cake flavors and I don't get a response...I called the store July 24th and a sweet lady Bailey ensured she would inform the owner to contact me. I asked about payment since I had yet to receive an invoice and she said one would be sent and they have all my information. July 28th comes and I still have heard nothing! At this point I am annoyed since my event is a week away and Kelsey has not reached out at all!!! At least say something -_-...I move on with a different baker as I should because who does that?! Do you know at 9pm August 3rd...the night before the retirement ceremony! I read an email from Kelsey! Really?! Telling me a cake is baked ready to be decorated. I did not waste my time responding. She called me 2hrs AFTER the retirement ceremony to say a cake was ready to be picked up! and had the AUDACITY to sound annoyed that we had no use for her last-minute cake! -_- WOW! I absolutely DO NOT recommend Bottom Line Bakery! I am so thankful for the professionalism of Incredibly Sweet Luxury Cakes. They responded quickly and made a stressful situation a breeze. Ordered a cake from here based on reviews and figured it would be at least somewhat delicious. It was not. The cake was way too dense, can't eat it. Not to mention the decor was lacking, they added edible paper and slapped it on the cake. I figured I would of have let them figure out a design since it was last minute (only a couple of days notice). It wasn't what I expected for the price you pay (over 100$) for the cake (6inch) you would assume it should of been at least edible. I don't recommend this place at all. Spend your money elsewhere. I wish I could say that this was fabulous, but alas. I purchased a cake for my daughter's birthday, and it was truly the driest cake I've ever eaten. It was pretty, I'll give it that, but dry, dry, dry. I did contact the owner directly with feedback; she suggested that perhaps I'd refrigerated the cake before eating it, and when I responded to say I had not, there was no further reply. I hadn't known this place existed until a coworker brought a box full of their "kitchen sink" brownies to the office. I ate one of those giant hunks of chocolate heaven, each sporting an embedded chocolate chip cookie, and I was hooked. Unfortunately, (but fortunately for my health) I don't live near Bottom Line. However, I was in the area recently and made a point to stop in and pick up a mixed box of goodies. I tried a pecan pie bar, oatmeal raisin cookie, Italian flag cookies, and of course, I got more brownies. It was all amazing. I will say they do not have a huge selection, but what they have is high quality. There were also cakes in the display, which looked delicious. According to their website, Bottom Line makes some fancy cakes, and the ones I saw proved they weren't lying! Savory foods are also available; there is a very small dining area. I see a lot of reviews for the storefront. I had the opportunity of eating from the food truck. The BLT, I ordered extra bacon which I didn't get. And the bacon was a bit over cooked, but it tasted ok after adding Mayo. I also tried 2 pieces of their cakes. Both were a little on the "hard" side and weren't good at all. I am so glad this bakery and cafe opened up. It is cozy with cute interior. I tried some baked goods and pumpkin soup, and they were exceptionally tasty. The owner is inspiring and down to earth, and I met her mom there too who was wonderful as well. I found my spot for a nice morning breakfast and for baked goods, so will be coming back any chance I get. Bottom Line Bakery is a hidden gem. Kelsey Burack has created a fantastic company and it is easy to see her passion for the business. The bakery itself is beautiful, clean, and well organized. The shop is perfect for quick pick-ups as well as for sit-down meals. The lunch menu is phenomenal - among my favorites are the grown-grilled cheese and bao buns. The baked goods are mouth-watering! And of course, all the pastries are delicious - cupcakes (the biscoff is a must try), macaroons, coffee cake, scones (especially the white chocolate chip strawberry), cookies, and brownies. Additionally, I worked closely with Kelsey and her team as they catered my wedding reception event. It was easy to communicate with Kelsey - she was quick to respond, and it was evident that she provides high quality service to each of her clients. Her team was a pleasure to work with, everyone was kind and helpful. We selected a three-tier vanilla cake with strawberry filling and vanilla frosting which was decorated beautifully with fresh cut flowers. The cake was simply amazing - our guests raved about it and the top tier may or may not have made it into the freezer for our one-year anniversary... Bottom Line also provided lunch at our reception - both Kelsey and Bek worked with us closely as we created a menu. We selected bao buns (again, one of my favorites), baked ziti, and crudites. They provided the plates and silverware as well as drinks (tea/water/soda). The Bottom-Line Bakery team was fantastic - they set up efficiently, taking care to have a beautiful display of both the food and the cake. Once the event was over, they cleaned their area and the kitchen, even packing up the leftovers for us. I could not imagine a better team to cater our wedding event. I had a cake made for my daughter birthday party. Which I called to make an appointment and went to the shop to talk about the cake. I was expected to sit down and talk about my daughters cake to the baker. Except I felt really rushed to get out the door. The news 26 cast was talking inside the bakery so I guess they were about to do a little show? I told her I wanted fresh fresh strawberries and she kept telling me totally they could do that. I wanted a specific theme, they didn't tell me exactly what they were going to imagine for the cake. They said they could also incorporate fresh flowers which I was totally for and told them that is fine, I would like that. My husband got the cake and I was really upset what we received. Keep in mind they NEVER told me a time to pick the cake up not even a round about time nor gave me updates. I gave them both my email and phone number. We had to keep calling to make sure it was done before my daughters party started. I thought it was going to be a beautiful themed cake with fresh flowers around it and fresh strawberries around the cake and in between the layers. The strawberries were the kind that you could get from the store that has the soggy texture from the jar. I just expected more knowing we paid over $100 for this cake. read more
