Amazing! Seriously, that's the first word that comes to mind! Kristen is incredible! She's quick, super friendly and makes you feel so comfortable. I was in and out of her salon in about 15 minutes. i was a bit hesitant because I just Moved here and this was going to be my third esthetician. my first person in Texas was great. The second one I tried was a newbie and the worse. So after going on a 1year hiatus I decided to try again but out here in Cali. I was so grateful that She knew what she was doing. With her background and years of experience it definitely showed. After I finish this review I am booking my second appointment. btw the booking site is quick and efficient just like her. She is also nice and pleasant and takes her time. My fiance decided to surprise me and said that she had come here for some work. She has been going on and on about what a positive experience she had that I absolutely felt the need to leave a review. She has been going on about how comfortable the experience was and quick, efficient and accommodating the worker was. It was just really great news, not to mention the work that was done was definitely top notch. Have been coming with her for almost 2 years now and have never gone back to shaving. This is someone you can trust wholeheartedly. Waxing in general is sometimes painful but because of how quick and efficient she is, right as you are trying to focus on the pain, they've already moved on to the next.. and it helps that she is having a constant conversation with you to distract you as much as possible, but will still ask how you are doing throughout. Booking through the website is the easiest and fastest way. I've gotten small services to full body waxes, always leaving very satisfied! Highly recommend booking a service! read more

Kristen always comes through for me! I moved out of the area for school but I still come back to her when I visit my family on the weekends. My schedule fluctuates a lot but she has always done her best to accommodate me when possible. I can't see myself going to anyone else! Her personality and workspace are super welcoming, I always feel very comfortable with her. She's also very thorough and clean, plus I have minimal pain and great results every time. So it's been awhile since I've had a wax due to alot of places being closed because of covid, and the place I always use to go to never had the same person waxing. So i wanted to switch it up and find a place that I can become a regular. I had a great experience here, love the small intimate space and Kristen was so sweet. Kristen is amazing! I was super nervous as this was my first time waxing, but Kristen was super friendly and helped calm my worries. Turns out the entire process was practically painless and I was out within 5-10 minutes! We only did one section at the time, but after this, I'm sure I could do a complete Brazilian. The set-up was also nice as it was a private room, nicely organized and well-cleaned. read more

Called the salon and left a message on the answering machine. No return call. The next day I see that the girl who originally called me text me at 10:15pm, which is completely unprofessional. To top it off, her message said she double booked and now wanted to reschedule for a different day. If this is how you run you salon, no thank you. I will not be returning due to your staff's lack of professionalism and inability to return calls and messages.

So I was looking for a good waxing salon and stumbled across bottoms up on Yelp, the 5 star reviews sold me immediately and I booked for the 15th of April. My husband and I booked a trip to New Orleans and I wanted a wax for obvious reasons . This was my first time getting a Brazilian and Kristen made my nerves go away as soon as I walked in her wax room. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming. I hardly remember the pain because the conversation we had was so good I didn't even notice lol Kristen is rookie-friendly and I highly recommend her services. I did not want some random woman looking and touching my goodies, but nonetheless all negative feelings, besides the pain, went away when this woman began to talk. In situations where you're vulnerable like this it can be weird and uncomfortable to make conversation with the person working. Kristen was so personable, kind, and informative; I wasn't uncomfortable from start to finish (this was my first time for this kind of wax and she made me feel very comfortable).
