I came in with no idea for design, then she helped me get creative and we made this design. I love this nail tech she was very nice and gentle with my hands as you can see in the photo my hands look so healthy after the cuticle oil. I love when the tech is also happy to do a client nails. This was my first time getting a Brazilian at the face and body place and my experience was ok. I've only ever gone to European Wax Center but decided to try something closer to home. EWC's wax rooms look almost like a doctor's office with the table that's covered with tissue paper. The wax room here is a table and covered with a cloth type thing, which isn't very sanitary to me. The person who did my wax was really nice but I wasn't satisfied with her work. She left so many hairs and I'm honestly in pain. She took a really long time for just a maintenance. I first went in for a wax, the room was disheveled as was the woman that was waxing me, but I didn't think too much of it, she did a good job, it just wasn't what I was expecting, it was rushed, and cramped, think getting an eyebrow wax in the back of a chop shop nail salon, that's what it was. Soft wax was used and she went over the same area more than once, I was red and tender for days, all things considered, I figured maybe it's just an off day. About a week or so later I returned for a pedicure, the tech was over 15 minutes late, again, I thought it's okay, maybe it's an off day, now the moment I couldn't excuse was when she used her gloved hand, the same gloved hand that was scrubbing my feet, and scooped sugar scrub straight out of the tub. I was disgusted. To add insult to injury, I was in and out in 30 minutes but when you book, it allots an hour and a half for the appointment, and their website listed gel pedicures for $45 as does an A frame in their lobby, however, I was charged $62. I have no problem paying the amount I paid if it was a quality experience, but it wasn't, it was cramped, unsanitary, and rushed. Lost two inches with the cavitation to my stomach area. Sooooo worth it! Always had a hard time losing my mom pooch and I saw a huge difference!!! Oh wow, fabulous! New service discovered that you absolutely have to try! Instead of their hot wax service, I had my face done with sugaring. No heat, virtually no pain, less redness, and it lasts longer so you do not need to return so frequently. Aesthetician Tennille was brilliant! This was my first ever facial and they made my first experience really nice, making me want to go back and make another appointment with them. I really love the products they used on my face and I love the lady who did mines she was so nice and respectful and always had a smile on her face. Once she was done she was making sure I was ok and she left my skin feeling the smoothest it has been for the longest. Awful. Dirty. Went in for a massage. I'm still covered in oil, so oily I couldn't put my socks back on. I was extremely uncomfortable, I was hot, there was no ac and I was forced to stare at their dirty floor while lying down. Apart from being uncomfortable I was just rubbed, nothing special. Recommend to try somewhere else, been elsewhere where they actually rub off the oil with a hot towel when done. read more

I go see Brenda for my Brazilian waxes now that I don't get back to NYC frequently enough and get tired of trekking down to Studio City where the other girl I like is. I was quite hesitant to go here at first being it is in Lancaster and a smaller place, I used to try out smaller places in smaller towns like this and the results were not to my liking. Brenda uses a hard wax which I was also leery about as I am a big fan of sugaring, but she has made me a fan. She takes the time to get everywhere front and back and will leave as much or as little hair as you want. She also takes the time to tackle any ingrown hairs so that is nice to have that extra attention to detail. The price is about average, $65-70 but I am willing to pay that in order to have a non-traumatic waxing experience on my lady bits. I also went to her for a massage once and that was also pretty enjoyable, they have monthly specials and it was my birthday month so I got 20% off...pretty sweet deal! They also have a waxing card, I always forget mine but you get something free or discounted after 10 waxes. Last but not least, the service at reception is always very friendly and personable. They always say my name as I enter and leave, and I think it is a great touch. So they might not have all of the fancy spa packages as other places, but they have good people here and fair prices so I'm a fan. read more

My nails speak for themselves. I was pretty disappointed. My nails were inconsistent, sloppy, and some of the nail polish on a few of my nails were thicker than others. Look at the nail polish on my pinky finger. I was also scheduled to receive a pedicure but quickly cancelled after my gel manicure. I believe the nail technician was new. She was a nice girl, but her quality of service was questionable. I'd definitely go elsewhere for nail service. However, I have received Brazilian waxes and that service is exceptional. Today I had the absolute best full body massage followed by one of the worst facials ever. Danae (not sure of the spelling of her name) gave an excellent massage. She really spent time engaging in the massage, knew her way about the massage techniques and it was so relaxing. Following the massage, I had a facial. I don't want to name the facialist which seems catty. But I paid $95 and the facial did not include steam. Since when does a facial which involves extractions not include steam???? She did put something on my nose and then proceeded to extract black heads on my nose while my face was bone dry. Lucky me. Then she slathered oil on my face and arms at the end so that I looked like a little seal. Awesome! When I was paying the bill, I quietly asked after the manager (don't worry I didn't go full Karen) and the woman I was paying the bill said she was one. I asked about the facial and the steam and she said yes that was included. I said I did not have and steam at all. The entire facial was so rushed and awkward I wondered if the facialist was new. The front desk lady said she was. I didn't press getting a slight reduction for a service that was not completely rendered but at this time after several years of using this salon, I think it's time to find one more professional. So very disappointing. I spent $210 for services and a nice tip for the massage and a small one for the newbie because I'm not vindictive. But the facial really was so paltry and lacking that I will have to find a new place to go. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER! BEWARE! My wife went here 2 weeks before our wedding day to get her back waxed. After a day, her whole back was infected and breaking out. She went to a dermatologist who confirmed the infection and prescribed her antibiotics. When we called and told the salon what happened to make them aware so that it wouldn't happen to anyone else, they denied it and claimed the dermatologist was wrong. I'm not exactly sure what they did wrong, but the fact that they aren't assuming responsibility and claiming they know more than a doctor says it all. I booked a "Day of Beauty" for Saturday July 16th, 2022. I messaged the owner on Instagram and within 20 minutes I was booked and taken care of. So the customer service leading up to the "day of beauty" was excellent. The actual "day of beauty" left a lot to be desired. The massage was very good, however, none of the oil that the masseuse used was wiped off of me at all. So I was covered in oil for the next four hours. The facial was relaxing, but left my skin broken out for over a week. The manicure and pedicure given by Mary were average. All three of the people that provided services for me were heavily "hinting" at the next time I came in and what they would do. I felt that they should have been concentrating on what they were doing to make me happy that day! When I left the girl who rang me up was very polite too. Very high turnover rate. They never keep an employee on board for very long. And when I called to re-book an appointment with one of their former employees, not only did they tell me that they still worked there and were 'completely booked,' they tried to push me over to someone else! I found this to be VERY unprofessional, and when I tried to leave this comment on their actual website, they deleted it! I consider that to be poor business practice on their part, and I think it should be recognized. I will NEVER go back to this place! I'm so glad I grabbed one of my girl's business cards when I first met her, and it had her cell phone number on it! I have a long history with massage therapy, physical therapy, etc and I am a connoisseur of great massages, always in search of the perfect pressure. First let me start off that Jayme is awesome! She is absolutely the best. I get my Brazilian wax with her and she makes me feel at ease that I forget about getting waxed. Every time I leave I feel smooth and there aren't any little hairs which is great! Unfortunately I won't be back due to every time I call I get the run around about booking Jayme. I've been told a few times that she unavailable (when she is) or I just need to have some one else do it or I have to wait for the following week (Jayme schedule was open but I was told the opposite) When this was brought to the attention to the owner the last time it happened I was basically called a liar.
