The CSR's act like they hate their job so does the manager. They have poor attitudes and poor customer service skills and then unfortunately when one CSR attempts to explain herself the other one speaks over her as if she's incompetent. it's always awkward when I go there but unfortunately, it's the only location in the antelope valley and my waxer Alley does a great job. She's always super thorough. Desk staff needs some coaching though i've been treated poorly by front desk staff since I started coming here about a year ago it's literally the Estheticians that's saving them. read more

First time at this location, JoJo was the waxer, I've been waxed before but this waxer was not applying pressure with her hand after she pulled each layer of wax, she also didn't apply any powder before applying the wax, and she left pieces of dried wax on me that I had to remove with oil once I left. And I noticed a few hairs were still visible. I'm not sure why the service was subpar. The price was expensive so to have such a low quality of service is unprofessional. read more

I usually go to LA for services. But recently noticed we had a European center in my area so I made an appointment. I arrive and was getting checked when asked if this was my first time visiting. The receptionist asked for an ID. I did not have my drivers license with me but had credit cards with my photo but was told I would not receive the first visit discount. The receptionist did ask the manager but was told no. Oh well I stick visiting Wax Candy for my waxing needs. I will add the receptionist was very nice. She made me feel at ease since I was a bit nervous being that I hadn't had a wax in a long time. She was super fast, and time flew by! She went above and beyond to get every stray hair too! Don't bother coming here!! Corinna was so incredibly rude! She didn't bother to greet me when she called me back or even bothered to tell me her name. I followed her back to a room where I asked her what service she wanted to perform first. She snickered and told me to take off my clothes. As I'm undressing, she walked out without saying anything. I was pulling my socks off when she returned, leaving my mooning into the hallway. She applied large areas of wax before removing it, making her struggle and leaving me in much discomfort. After a few applications, I told her the wax was way too hot. She responded with "ok" with attitude. Then, she didn't even wait 30 seconds before applying more hot wax. I calmly told her the wax was way too hot and started fanning the newly applied, even hotter wax. She did not say anything and walked out of the room, slamming the door. I laid there for a few minutes with wax on various parts of my body. Suddenly there was a knock on the door and a different person walked in and told me she would be finishing the waxing. Sebrethia introduced herself and got right to work. She was more patient with both the application and removal of wax. She was kind enough to put pressure on areas where she removed the wax, which I always appreciate. However, that night, I inspected my serviced areas to find patches of long hair throughout the bottom half of my body. I even felt that hot wax brittled some of the hair on my legs, making the hair break and not come out with the wax. I was really displeased with the lack of customer service and the end results. I have been to other locations in LA and OC and have had good experiences there, but the wax here did not do anywhere near as good a job as other locations, even tho I felt Sebrethia go over areas more than once. Don't waste your time and money coming here. Find a local, independent entrepreneur who will give you the time and attention for your money. read more
