However, they failed to notice that my car has offset wheel sizes (back wheels are wider than the front) and they installed one side backwards. We had already received a quote at a competitive business and decided to give Dale's (owner Troy) Service an opportunity to earn our business because it would be more convenient for our son rather than traveling to Waterloo. Troy provided a quote that was over $300 more expensive than his competitors but that isn't the problem. When my son received the quote Troy charged him $79.82 to receive the quote, nothing replaced or repaired. There was no discussion prior to Troy providing the quote of an "inspection fee". I called to dispute the charge and he said he would refund the fee only if we agreed to have our vehicle repaired at his business. Based on our experience, Troy the owner of Dale's Service is unethical and lacks integrity.
