I did a boudoir shoot with Christy as a wedding gift for my hubby. I was hesitant, as I didn't want to spend money on something like that and end up not being happy with the result. Where do I start?! Let me just say I started planning this boudoir session 5 months prior, hoping to loose a few pounds for this day. As the day got closer, and the procrastination on workouts continued, I just decided I was going to ROCK it, despite where I was. This was the first decision that set me up for success. Then I booked a tanning appt, a hair appt, a nail appt, and a waxing appt which didn't happen, unfortunately (it's the ONLY thing I wish happened after all was said and done...) This all was an investment but it was worth every Penny. I got the tanning and nail appt a few days prior, and my hair appt a week prior. I also scheduled a date night/overnight with my husband, for the day of the shoot, as we have a 4 year old at home, which was the BEST decision as I was all done up. The morning of the shoot I got my hair and makeup done by a professional contracted with Christy. She's flawless and made me feel so. Then I drove to Christy's studio! I was welcomed with multiple backdrops, her client closet (I bought a few things I liked on me, but she had extra cute options..) coffee and mimosas! She was effortless, and made me feel so comfortable. It was like hanging with a sister, and we laughed so much. Despite me not "loosing those pounds" I felt phenomenal, and the feeling lasted much longer than the shoot. The confidence it gave was unmatched. The results were to die for, and my husband is a happy man She didn't edit out my stretch marks or my "flaws" and I looked imperfectly perfect.
