Nice RV park with full hookups, 50 amp service, a huge dog run, trees, swimming pool and hot tub. Each site has a fire ring for enjoying a nice fire while roasting hot dogs. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely go again.

Very scenic, mountains all around this RV site! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They give you plenty of space in your camp site and full hookups. But.... Not very clean. Bathroom toilet was backed up for two days. Only two toilets in the entire RV complex so that could be challenging.

My husband and I came here in early June with our two dogs. This place is right off the 395 to the right. The registration lady was very friendly. We even got a call the day before asking us if we needed anything and to let us know we could check in early if we wanted. The campsites are dirt and gravel. The back in sites have concrete pads. The roads are paved. We stayed in site 67, which was a pull through. It had a tree, a small picnic table, and a fire pit. The neighbors were friendly. There was a big combination of weekend campers and some using this place as a stop over. Some campers brought their off-road bikes and quads. There is an entry to the desert from the park. The dog park was huge with entry gates at either end. Each entry point had gravel, but the park was dirt. I was disappointed at first, but then I realized that dirt is better because the gravel at the entry point was too hot for my dogs feet. We used the pool, and it was refreshing. There were only six lounge chairs, so bring your own if you want a guaranteed place to sit. The whole park felt comfortable. I suggest going up to the Mount Whitney Portal Picnic Area and to the Museum of Western Film. The town is 5 minutes away for groceries, restaurants, and other sites. My husband said Jake's Saloon was cool.

Maria at the front desk was BEYOND RUDE! We showed up at 11:45a and she said "CHECK INS NOT TILL 12p" Uhhhhhhh, we just drove 5 hours and brought our own "home" AND our site was ready!!!! I asked if she wanted us to leave and she said "no, but next time it won't be tolerated" If I wasn't so dang tired we would've pushed on past just because of her! She's the reason for 2 stars being removed. The rest of the staff was amazing. Maria needs to GO! We stayed in the north campground and the spaces were very spacious and clean. We stayed in N16 and had our side by side with us and rode right out of our campground toward Owens Lake and also rode over to Alabama Hills. Would def recommend North campground, the other campground area was really tight and overcrowded.

We have been coming here for the past 3 years , in December the staff here is absolutely amazing ! The girls that work in here are so very friendly and nice . The campgrounds are always clean . The bathrooms are very clean . Huge dog run that is kept clean also !

The cabin we rented was very dirty. A pair of men's dirty underwear were left on the bedroom floor, broken blinds, dirty floor vents, Keurig machine was so dirty it was unusable, room smelled bad, pool was closed indefinitely. Upon checking out I showed them pictures of the room and yet management has not reached out other than asking for photos to be emailed to them.

TLDR; Great time, nice campsites, friendly staff, clean bathroom and showers Check in is at 3pm but we got caught up in some traffic on the way there and couldn't arrive until 6:45. Got an email and text message with a picture of where our envelope with our information would be that contained the gate code, campsite, and a map of the campground. Very nice. We pulled in and as I was grabbing the envelope a man named Scot who was working there greeted me and asked if I needed any help. Told him that it's our first time here and he offered to show us to our campsite and lead us in his golf cart. When we pulled into the campsite it was clean and the ground was even raked! Which was perfect for us to immediately start setting up our tent. Even the fire pit was raked and clean, there was shade galore which my wife with sensitive skin greatly appreciated. Full cell service with T-Mobile Noticed that the bench at our site could use some TLC, looked like someone put too hot of a pot on it and burned a pretty decent divot into it and it was leaning. Still useable and not a deal breaker for us. There were 2 water spouts to fill up the bucket we used to put out our fire and clean our dishes very close by our site with good pressure. The river was a stones throw away from our campsite which provided great white noise to fall asleep to. One of the rules is that Quiet time is at 10pm. I've been camping elsewhere with the same rule but never have I've seen it enforced unless you call and complain. Staff would drive by around 9:30 on the golf cart, I assume to see who is still playing music, and then again at 10. Which was great. They didn't announce the rule or even say anything as they drove by, but just making their presence known was very professional and reassuring. Since we didn't get to check in properly we had to go back up to the main office/ general store to submit a registration card, that was in the envelope I picked up, to finish checking in. The woman checking us in was nice, friendly, quick, and efficient. She suggested we stop by McNally's further up about 40min drive if we were looking for something to do or eat. 11/10 suggestion. It was all n all a great time. We will be back. Worth the money.

I personally felt that they were treating my group and I like we were stupid or something. We had a big wasp problem at our campsite and though they did help us by putting up a trap, they acted like it was completely up to us to fix their problem. That only happened one night but the wasps did resurface the next morning so we left as soon as possible. We also had a big skunk problem at our site. We couldn't relax at the campfire because the skunks would come up to us every couple of minutes and we would have to shoo them away. They would also rummage through our stuff which was covered and put away to our best extent. They thankfully didn't mess with the tent but they did spray a bit when we were trying to sleep. This was both nights. If you're someone who is willing to look past that and persevere definitely try this place it is so worth it. I would maybe come back, as long as I wouldn't have to deal with the wasps again lol. I will say the restrooms and showers were very clean so that does encourage me to not be shy on coming back.

My kids and I love tent camping and dry camping, but my wife is an RV girl (class A if you must know). This was her first tent experience so we wanted to make it memorable. Funny how things work out: careful what you wish for... I'll get to that later... The site we got was amazing. Level, flat with direct access to the lake. We had a tree next to us and a hose bib. Across the way was a fish cleaning sink that we used to wash dishes. The fire pit had a swing away grill which was nice. There were Porta-potties close by, but we brought our own portable toilet and privacy pop up shelter. The view was amazing. The sun set over the lake, and the mountains (the Eastern edge of the Sierra Nevadas) basked in hues of purple, deep red and blue. We called it the Disney mountains because it looked so amazing it must be fake. The night sky was simply awesome. My 8 year-old, who loves astronomy and science, couldn't stop looking up. Shame on me for not bringing our telescope or remembering I had binoculars in the truck. If you wanted to be amazed by the beauty of a star filled sky, just look up. The days brought high temps in the low to mid 90's, so we brought a portable generator and AC, I know, but it was my wife's first tent camping trip and we didn't want to make it her last. Early evening brought some gusts and our first night was windy. The tent held up well, but my wife and kids were cold. We didn't bring sleeping bags, only blankets, and had a large 4 room, 12 man tent, so staying warm was an issue. Luckily, I brought our Mr. Heater Buddy propane heater, so we stayed warm until the propane ran out. We explored the next day looking for a propane fill up station in nearby Lone Pine. The quaint town reminded my boys of Radiator Springs from Disney's "Cars." As is typical for small towns that rely on tourism, the propane was majorly expensive, but we had no choice. The town, though, was nice to explore. Early morning hours brought an almost glassy lake with no waves. Wait until late morning and you got the wake waves from the motor boats, wake boarders and jet skis. Wait until the late afternoon and you got wind and waves. We used a blow up canoe and oars, so the afternoon wind and waves were impossible for us to get through. The winds on our last night really picked up in the afternoon. A 60 mph gust or stronger blew through our site and ripped apart our tent, destroyed our Coleman canopy and blew our raft, life jackets, oars and other supplies at least 30 yards away. With our tent destroyed, we had to pack up everything in the wind. We threw away both our canopy and our tent. I'm spite of our surprise excitement of the wind gust and destroyed camp gear, it was an experience we'd never forget. A memorable one, for sure, that ended up landing me with a new tent for my birthday and shade canopy, something that I wished for for a long time. Careful what you wish for, eh?
