Avoid as hell. This barn has a very toxic culture. Lots of badmouthing and bullying among riders,…read moreespecially from older women towards younger riders. Some young riders replicate the behavior to fit in, and perpetuate the toxicity. Women are cat fighting at every corner. it's just awful. I'm a foreigner, and several white women were harassing me and verbally assaulting me on my first day. I felt there was a lot of racism at this facility. The barn owner has no welcoming culture, she tolerates bullying at her facility and greatly participates. She is unjust, and does not take feedback well. Also, the barn owner does not maintain the property at all. She asks you to pay extra for using the arena, but she won't maintain the arena or hire barn workers. Arena gets floaded all year long, the arena is in neglect. It's a pretty bad place for leasing a horse, as they'll ask you to clean stalls for free! It's a neglected place, and there are too many undiagnosed mental illnesses going on there. It's best to spend an extra $100 at another facility that has a better code of conduct and will guarantee you peace of mind. After all, you should always have fun riding!

For the sake of your horse and yourself, avoid this place. The barn manager negligently fed my…read morehorse, within three days of him being there, grass hay. He never gets grass, never eaten it in his life. His feed schedule was posted right next to his stall and his very own bale of hay was also right next to his stall. My horse lost a member of his herd, moved to this place, and was misfed in a series of three hot days. He colicked, twisted, and died on the property. Within 12 hours i had arranged for his burial in another county and was en route to pick him up when i was notified by the barn manager that she had a tallow company coming to pick him up. I understand why some would do this with their horse, i dont judge, but i will not do that to my own. I ended up paying off the tallow guy for my own horse's body... The next day when moving the rest of our herd from this property due to all the drama, the barn manager yanked our pony out of his stall and literally started running off with him while yelling at her own boarders. Insane. Got our pony back, loaded up and got the hell out. The point of a barn is caring for these animals that do so much for us and building community. This place is in the practice of god knows what but it aint that.
