We had Boule Bakery cater a large (70 person) reunion/party. They made fresh sliced bread, meat and cheese platters, salad, homemade condiments, and cookies. It was all fantastic. Their bread is delicious. The croissants buttery and flaky. There was plenty of meat and cheese for the sandwiches and the homemade mayo and mustard were so much better than anything store bought! The salad was fresh and topped with pepitas and cranberry and three dressing options. Finally, the cookies were to die for! I'm so happy we found Boule Bakery for this event. Stopped here randomly on our drive home to RI from the NEK. Best ham & cheese croissant of my entire life! Had some unexpected ingredients (fresh dill -- & maybe a bit of ground mustard?). This was the cutest bakery shop in a town with lots of great spots including antique stores, movie theater, and old book store. The pastries were delicious. I had a bun with orange and cardamom which was delicious and had flaky layers like a croissant. I also liked that there was lots of seating and beautiful fresh flowers all around. read more

Don't support this bakery what so ever. My girlfriend got hired here and was hired on the spot. Gave her a schedule and everything. Went in on her first day and was told they hired someone else and didn't have "the time or effort" to train her. What such a unprofessional establishment. DONT SUPPORT THEM! read more

This is my go-to place for coffee in St J. We've gotten pastries and sandwiches here, too, and they were always consistently good. Every time I've come in, the staff have been kind and seemed in a good mood, which is above and beyond what I would expect. I know it is not an easy job. The decor feels clean and elegant. If they are closed, you can head over to the Buttery; both places have excellent espresso. We are so blessed to have Boule in our community. read more

Delicious coffee and pastries. But they no longer off a pour over despite the online menu and Yelp listing. Staff said they stopped doing them about 2 weeks ago. Breakfast sandwiches are premade and wrapped and microwaved so that was disappointing. English muffins were soft not toasted. Maple almond roll was delicious. Latte art is on pointe. This place was recommended to me by our awesome server at Whirligig. The locally roasted pour over was the best cup of coffee I have ever had. WiFi was strong so I was able to do work. There is nothing particularly Vermonty unfortunately about the attitude and decor of the shop (more like Seattle perhaps), but the sourdough is fresh, on the ready & at a respectable cost imo (for the lack of commercialization of the town, it is Vermont afterall which is what I love about it) and the pastries are artisanal and plentiful. read more
