These guys were great I went out and walked the whole property with them and marked it with flagging tape . They were very nice and found the markers in no time .I had another company out there that took one look at my forest like acre of land and wouldn't even try to find them . I would never recommend - the survey done did not match with the subdivision plat I had. The company has refused to come and fix the stakes - even after several calls. I made a big mistake - regret having used them. read more

This company does not call back or show when they say they will. They completed a survey and produced a drawing that was not accurate. Further they said the drawing was based on one scale and when we started working with it it was not the scale they said it was. I ended up having to get someone else to redo. I found company to be unresponsive and unprofessional. read more

Great experience! I chose a Boundary Survey over just getting my corners marked because I wanted a drawing signed by a licensed Surveyor for my records. I was home at the time of the Boundary Survey. They were friendly and on time. Even showed me the limits of my yard and answered a couple questions for my neighbor as well. I am glad I hired them. read more

Hired them to do a survey on my property. Survey was done incorrectly, and with no followup information provided. For example, after a survey is completed, I expected to receive a basic report or summary. I did not receive anything. I reached out to find out what next steps were. I then asked for a followup to have the survey done correctly (they had used outdated documents and did not look for any kind of updated one). Did not receive a followup to my emails until I called them back numerous times. I understand that surveying can be complicated based on the lack of good record keeping on the county's part, but when you contract a surveyor to get a property mapped correctly for you, I would expect them to do whatever it takes to ensure that they perform an accurate survey. If that means a bit more due diligence, research on surrounding property lines, pulling title records, etc., I would expect that to be done as part of the process. If they are not able to find documentation for some reason, I would expect a followup report detailing why, as well as some kind of 'best estimate' and next steps as to how they were going to make sure they properly surveyed the property. I have had to hire another survey company to do the survey correctly. On a positive note, the people that I interacted with at the company were always polite and professional. read more

Had a horrible experience with Boundary Zone. I needed a survey done quickly, and Boundary Zone was the only company that did not have 2+ week backlog and could do the survey quickly. I hired them to conduct a basic property staking of my property. The issues began when they did not arrive on the scheduled day, and got worse from there. A few calls and emails later, and they eventually came to the property a week after. "That scheduled date was just an estimate", I was told. They struggled to accurately stake the property line and blamed it on missing pins. Apparently all this business does is look for pins, which anyone could do. They eventually gave up, and said they staked it as best they could. Since they were not able to use the pins to stake the property lines, I asked them to share the records they had used to determine my property boundary, and they said they could not share those with me since they were "private". To me, if you are not able to provide the source you used to outline the property, that's the same as simply 'guessing' and stinks of a not doing any kind of due diligence or research. Lazy. The president/manager laughed when I expressed my concerns about the lack of faith I had in the person who had conducted the survey, and told me his surveyor on the project was just inexperienced. I told them that was unacceptable and they needed to share the actual documents they used to base their survey on with me. After going back and forth countless times, they eventually shared a drawing they had used. The drawing looked like a child had just scribbled a random shape on a piece of paper - there were no markers, measurements, distance elements, neighboring properties marked - nothing on the page but a random shape. Even worse, they then charged me for the 'survey' they did not do. Stay away from this business. There is a reason why they are readily available. read more

Sadly we have not had a good experience with this company at all. They were hired to do survey including setback lines, the first survey came back with wrong setback lines, when we found this out from city and sent correct info to them they did correct the survey so we just let this go and decided to hire them again (mainly because they were able to complete job so fast....). Next job we needed them to add a structure to the "corrected survey", but ask them several times to please call to discuss, no one ever did and next thing we know they sent bill for completed job, i questioned them on how they could complete a job before talking to us and were they sure they did it on the corrected survey, they sent me a screen shot of new survey with structure, once again it was done on the survey with the WRONG setback line's AGAIN. At this point i told them to stop the job as we are clearly not on the same page. They confirmed i asked them to stop work on this yet several days later i started getting a bill due notice, 3 invoices and threating calls later they are now saying they are sending us to collections because we won't pay our bill. We have asked owner to call several times, sent emails, certified letter and left messages with no response other than a young guy in accounting that is throwing his weight around and saying we signed a contract (Yup we did but to do a correct job, not one we have had to correct you on twice!!). The ONLY reason i gave them even a 1 star review is because they were faster than anyone else, but boy has that really backfired! Now seeing other reviews saying the same thing...i would stay away from this company! read more

I hired the Boundary Zone to do my boundaries prior to a landscaping project. This sort of thing is very important - in our case we learned that our builder had incorrectly sized our lot and our garden was bigger than we originally thought. So we were able to expand our yard and have the builder pay for it. The surveyor was on-time, he was very engaging and helpful in explaining the boundaries, and the pricing was reasonable. I don't usually leave five stars for a business but their customer service was exceptional so I had to share my experience.I recently did a survey for a fence with these guys, everyone I spoke to was really friendly and helpful. They priced me out on just what I needed and we're not like the other places I called who gave me higher prices and wanted to include services I didn't need. They listened to me and guided me through the process. If you live in the metro Atlanta area I will definitely recommend them for any survey work you need. read more

When my next door neighbor decided on putting up a fence. We obviously needed to survey our property. To our surprised our backyard neighbor was more than 10 feet into our yard with his fence. You never know whose getting over on you. I really liked the way the folks that came out from Boundary Zone handled the situation. Contracted Boundary Zone to survey my lot which they did very well. I was happy with the work the survey side of the business did. Then I contracted them to develop a site plan and septic system for the lot. They provided me the plan and the septic which had numerous typos, mistakes and didn't pass the permitting process. I tried to get the situation resolved but they pushed me off to a junior rep who had no experience and then stopped communicating with me. I called numerous times to get some traction, left messages but couldn't get anywhere. I had to purchase the CAD file for an additional fee so another company could actually complete the site and septic plans - for another fee. I would give the survey side 5 stars but the pain and hassle of the other guys ruined the experience for me. read more

After contacting several survey companies in the greater Atlanta area who weren't interested in surveying our property (the job was too small), Boundary Zone was the ONLY land survey company who would come to our place to help us locate the corners and boundaries. Boundary Zone gave us great service with a quick turnaround at a fantastic price when we needed them. The two guys who came out were prompt, polite, reliable, and did a good job. This truly is as good as it gets. Their price was very reasonable and the man they sent (Rhett) to do the job was as nice and polite as they get.
