Leisha is unique. I am a Veteran and an NDIS participant. Leisha's ability to make anyone feel at ease, heard and supported, when talking about trauma, sexual assault and mental health, are what you want and need in a counsellor. I had never had counselling in my life. So, I did not know what to expect. Leisha's openness, kindness, and sense of humour - made the process of talking about the trauma events in my life - that much easier, as if I was talking to a trusted friend. I highly recommend you connect with Leisha and the services she provides. Bronwyn Sunshine Coast read more

History
Established in 2007.
I have worked in Government and Non-government organisations in areas such as Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence, Rehabilitation, Palliative Care, Renal Unit, Womens' Centres and Carers. I became a Private Practitioner on a part-time basis in 2007 operating under Leisha Townson Professional Counselling and Consultancy Services. In 2009. I established with a colleague a business designed to providing training to professional service providers in the area of trauma and resilience. This was dismantled in 2012 after my move to Queensland in 2011. In 2016, I changed my business name to Boundless Counselling and Consultancy and have been operating successfully since.
Meet the Business Owner: Leisha T.
Leisha enters into every relationship with the thinking that every person has their own unique strengths, innate resilience and ability to achieve emotional equilibrium. She is passionate about social justice and the basic human right that every individual has to live a life which is filled with a sense of safety, recognition, inclusion, knowledge and connectedness. A strength based/client centred approach is the underlying framework foundation for Leisha's therapeutic work - whilst utilising an extensive range of Evidence Based therapeutic models and Focussed Psychological Strategies. The vast range of her experiences has instilled the knowledge that even 'a single thread' of hope can still be very powerful in creating a solid foundation for positive change.
