He answered all of our questions and had some extra perks we liked. He was easily our favorite vendor throughout our wedding planning process! He is quick on response times and always willing to answer questions. Some things we personally loved that he did was at the reception he put up some of the photos he took throughout the wedding so our guests were able to see them! We got a lot of compliments on that. Guests loved it! Another thing was that he worked hard at remembering our bridal party's names. My matron of honor and I were both really impressed by that! It made taking the photos a lot more fun. He also stays ALL day. He doesn't put a time limit on the event. We loved that. Time limits can be stressful because you're trying to get all the photos done before they have to leave. All he asks is for a meal for him and his assistant. The last and biggest thing we loved was that he helped side step a problem. My dad forgot his tie, but before I could have a mini panic attack that we were out a tie, my mom came in and told me that the photographer offered his grey tie to my dad. His tie matched really well with the suits and it was perfect! It was very kind and caring of him to do that. My husband and I were really grateful! We did pay more than what we planned for Garret, but we have no regrets about that! The photos came back quickly and are amazing! As a working professional with no family in the immediate area, it was clear that I was in over my head. I met Marie at an open house at our reception facility; after a complimentary consultation, I realized that (a) I had no idea how much work was in store for me and (b) what I paid in terms of her fee would reap us benefits in discounts and peace of mind. I'm not going to lie: Marie is a taskmaster. We had meeting after meeting after meeting in the months leading up to my wedding. The result: Incredibly detailed spreadsheets that meant that I didn't have to think about a damn thing that entire weekend. Marie and her team made sure that everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there -- and that includes family, members of the bridal party and vendors. She even returned our rented items the following Monday, while we were relaxing on our honeymoon. We received so many compliments about how smoothly our ceremony and reception went; it wouldn't have worked without FCCI. Her rates are incredibly reasonable, especially when you consider the level of service that you receive. In addition to her talented planning skills, she is a meticulous seamstress, who basically reconstructed my dress. You might think that planners are for spoiled 20-somethings whose parents are footing the bill -- but, really, hiring a planner is an investment in your sanity. My wife (fiance at the time) LOVES pictures. To her, the one thing that was most important about…read morethe wedding was having great pictures to remember it by. I personally find pictures annoying to take and wasn't as excited about it. My wife and I had attended another wedding in Indianapolis where Rich was the photographer and she loved the work he did and how he did it. I was agnostic and let her choose. The experience started with the engagement pictures. Rich is based in Indianapolis but is expanding into Chicago based on demand. Rich came to Chicago and we just explored the city together with him taking pictures all the while. He would take pictures in what I thought were very random places, but after seeing the results I realized he had an amazing eye for picture possibilities and lighting. Rich also took a lot of candid shots that captured our personalities and interaction. I'm not a huge fan of taking pictures, but Rich made us feel comfortable and made me excited to see the end results. For the wedding Rich was just as good. He blended into the background and used the settings that nature and the venues provided. The pictures didn't feel staged, but instead felt natural and fun. They captured the moments and the true spirit of the day without Rich ever trying to control the situation or be invasive. As a groom, I would definitely rec commend Rich to other guys as being a pleasure to work with. I know that brides will be amazed too, because mine is very picky about her pictures and she was absolutely amazed.

When we were planning our July 2010 wedding we knew we wanted to put a chunk of our budget into…read morephotography. We met with several different photographers and finally narrowed it down to Rich. He recognized our vision and met all of our requirements: engagement session, all-day photography, all images provided on disc, and photo book. We also received a discounted rate because we had our wedding on a Friday night. Our engagement photos were stunning. We met him for an afternoon at the Canal and he made it look like we had been whisked away to somewhere in Europe. He also gave us about 8-8x10 prints from the session and a few were featured on his website. On our big day, Rich helped capture every moment. He and his assistant photographed the entire ceremony, as well as all the preparations. Some of the pictures from the salon of my bridesmaids and me are my favorites. He also helped orchestrate a beautiful "first glance' moment between my husband and me. After the ceremony, our wedding party took a bus around the city and Rich had us photographed in some beautiful spaces. My only regret is we didn't get to the Circle, but maybe for our vow renewal! He and his assistant stayed well into the night and found big and small moments to capture. We treasure his work and it makes me so happy that we invested our time and money with Rich. You would not regret choosing him as your photographer for any important event.

Went down with a group to camp for a couple days and have some Christian fellowship. They have facilities for showering and bathrooms electric but all the camping areas are primitive they do supply you with wood also which is very nice and convenient to burn in your fires. But, you must have A freestanding above the ground fire pit they do not let you burn fires on the ground or in a fire ring which only contains the wood, but still burns on the ground. There are a couple of buildings that you can have inside meetings and they do provide food at additional cost.
