Love chocolate, then this is the cafe for you. An absolute treat! So many more items in this store than any I've been to in the states. I grabbed so many items that I forgot to tuck them into my checked bag. Unfortunately, they were gifted to the Paris airport. Grateful to have experienced the richness of this delectable chocolate.

It's your standard Lindt boutique, come in grab chocolate, take the obligatory photo with the life size bars and get on your way. They throw in a few extras when you check out, fam loves bringing us here, so we oblige graciously. My favorite you ask: skip all the usuals, grab a lb of the marzipan. They may be seasonal, but if you see them get them. Also, the marzipan tablet is delightful if you must buy something. Otherwise, they also sell basic Lindt bars at walmart, just fyi. So for my ohio folk, don't despair just head on over to your 24 hour walmart.

A fun full of energy Lindt store. First time ever having a Lindt hot chocolate and boy was it excellent! They have many new flavors of truffles and chocolate bars that I haven't seen at other Lindt stores in the US. The line was too long to try the ice cream so I settled for the hot chocolate. They have numerous people throughout the store giving out free samples. Fun touristy place to visit even though Lindt is from Switzerland it was nice to see in Paris.

Their ice cream was delicious, 70 percent cacao. It tastes like pure chocolate and was topped off by a chocolate square piece. They have many chocolate gift ideas. I bought many of the loose chocolates that you can mix and match and I also had the Switzerland premium dark chocolate bars for 7€ for one. Most of the other rectangular bars with percent of cacao listed I did not bother to purchase because I can get it in the states, United States that is. They have a restroom/toilet you can use only if you're a customer by showing them the receipt of purchase.

I went here to have a hot chocolate. I said pardon 3 times to the chocolate "chef" in the back. She pretended not to hear me. I asked her the restroom code and she said I need a receipt. I said I did buy a hot chocolate and she essentially didn't believe me. So I then had to walk back up to the counter and ask the cashier for the code. I'll be the real mvp here... the code is C1360. I then heard another American ask the chocolate "chef" a question and after she answered she rolled her eyes. I couldn't believe it. She apparently thinks she's something special. Lindt is good, but it's not like she's a chef at a 3 star Michelin restaurant. She needs to come back down to earth... good hot chocolate though!

Hot chocolate (dark chocolate) comes with a complimentary chocolate.

Went there today, and man, it was a chocolate heaven hahahaha!! Just as I stepped into the store, a staff came up and offered me a classic lindt chocolate ball ;) There were all sorts of flavours and styles of chocolate. It made it super difficult to choose one, because it all looked soooooo good. I also tried one of their hot chocolate (I picked dark chocolate. But you can choose milk chocolate or white chocolate) at the cafe section. It was delicious, probably the best hot chocolate I've ever had (even though I haven't had many in my life lol.. I'm not exactly the biggest fan of chocolate). Decadent and velvety smooth. It also comes with a complimentary piece of chocolate with raisins and nuts. More chocolate! Yum!!! The staff were really friendly and helpful too. All in all, a great experience ;)

They offered a variety of cookies. You picked your tin box and filled it with whatever you liked. They also had pre made boxes. Very delicious and I love places that provide samples. I dislike buying things that I'm not sure that I'll like. Having a sample will just confirm my willingness to buy more. I recommend stopping by if you're ever in the area.

The store is fairly spacious, and they have a large display right at the front of their signature cookies. They have numerous varieties, so grab a plastic glove and put your selections into a bag. If you get 900 grams of cookies you will get a tin included. They have a large variety of cookies from basic chocolate to fig or apple-filled. These are different from American cookies and have a crumbly consistency like shortbread and a mild, less-sweet flavor. They are delicate and delicious! The filled cookies have a light fruity filling which is just perfect. They have a large variety of other items too including madelines and candies and gift items. The staff spoke great English and were very friendly and happy to help. They offered to ring us up as three separate transactions so we would qualify for three of the promotional discount madeline tins they were offering. Much appreciated! Definitely visit for these unique French cookies, and you too many be hunting for these boutiques wherever you travel!

Angelina, Paris, France -- April 12…read more Our family of four with kids ages 9 and 10 stopped here for lunch after visiting the Louvre, drawn in by its reputation for having the best hot chocolate in the world. We were looking for a place to relax and refuel, and the experience felt a bit mixed overall. Arrival and First Impressions The space is elegant with classic Parisian charm. The line moved quickly, and we were seated with a great view of the dining room. It felt refined but still comfortable. The Highlights The famous hot chocolate lived up to expectations, thick, rich, and almost more like a dessert than a drink. We also had French onion soup and an éclair, both of which were very good. The pastries were clearly well made and thoughtfully prepared. The kids had chicken tenders, which they enjoyed, even though the tomato sauce was a bit different from what they expected. The Challenges The biggest drawback was the price. The meal felt expensive for what we ordered, coming in at €154 for a fairly simple lunch. Service felt slightly rushed as they moved tables along quickly. Final Thoughts We would likely return if we were nearby and specifically craving the hot chocolate again. It is a classic Paris stop and worth trying once, but the value may not justify going out of your way unless that signature experience is high on your list.

It really tastes like melted chocolate with a bit of milk mixed in to make it more drinkable. We went at a bit of an off time, late morning and it wasn't overly busy. We saw our server once and I couldn't recall who he was when it came time to get the bill. I asked a hostess walking by for our check and she told me to ask our server while walking away. We were able to flag another server down eventually but the whole process just took too long. The tables for four have chairs that don't quite tuck in causing for a bit awkward seating. If you like really thick hot chocolate, give it a try but otherwise ok to miss this one. Plenty of good hot chocolate throughout the city.
