I like this Next location at the Bullring in Birmingham, the store has a nice feel to it, they have obviously spent more time and thought of the overall store look and feel, making it a much nicer place to shop than many other Next locations. Alongside the standard clothing offering, there is a Lipsy area and small Costa Coffee inside the store, although the overall facilities do lack compared to other stores, for example in Manchester, there is a Home section as well as Paperchase, Costa and a barber, the facilities overall are pretty good. I couldn't find a staff member anywhere on the shop floor which was pretty frustrating, the only time I encountered someone that worked here was at the checkouts! 4* - A relatively good store, it is laid out well, with some nice items for sale making it a good addition to the Bullring. read more
When I need to buy smarter clothes, either for work or formal events I've found after trial and error for next to be the most reasonably priced whilst still stocking the selections I like. The store in the bull ring is one that has the most variety or work and casual clothes. Menswear is ground floor with its own entrance and ladies upstairs, there is an escalator taking you up but I've not yet figured out if you can go down inside the store. The staff here are attentive and pleasant, the clothes are kept reasonably tidy and organise giving that it's in the bull ring. I'm able to find most of the clothes here that they have on there website. And yes you should be able to do that, but the stores in Telford don't feel we need suits in the ladies section. read more
Next store is big, theres two levels. First one is middle floor next to EAT, second is bottom floor of Bullring, near selfridges (krispy kreme) Bottom floor is mens. I don't shop here for many things, I have some stuff I prefer to get here. Love their products, especially shirts. Material are really good. A little pricey but worth it. Most of my shirts are from next and it's one of the stores I go to when looking for formal outfits. I don't like big logos and too much designs on my clothes, and I find Next clothes are just what I like, simple but good quality. read more

When I was about to go on my holidays my family gave me some money for my birthday and I decided to spend it wisely and replenish my wardrobe. Looking in all of the shops the only one that actually made me want to return to it was Next. I find that I can get most things I want there and they have a gorgeous range for this summer and even my fiancé has enjoyed shopping there lately too so hopefully this review will get over to you how fantastic Next really is. Oh and plus because I am in the process of buying a home I also found it very useful that it has a gorgeous home department so that is just another positive vibe for me to write my review. - What is Next? Next is essentially seen as a clothes shop for women, men and children but it is in fact a lot more than that. From Next you can buy things for your home as well as gifts, jewellery and perfume so basically apart from food you can get quite a lot from there but the main part is for clothes. - Where can I find one? There are these shops everywhere and it is likely that you can find one in your area. If you go onto the website http://www.next.co.uk then you can actually do a store search so you can find a local branch. In main towns and cities there should be one about and I have started to see them on industrial states a lot but branch sizes do differ quite a bit and this does affect the styles they have in stock. - The Store: Next stores are always easy to identify. The Next name is white / cream on a black background and it does look very smart indeed. The stores are usually painted in a cream to give a nice relaxing feel and the window displays are usually neat with some of the nicest fashions at that particular time and prices are stated most of the time. - Clothes: Clothes are what Next has become famous for and let me tell you they are fantastic. The reason I like them is that for what they are they are extremely reasonable and unlike some stores the clothes last and last so when you buy something you know you will have it for years to come. First the women's section. Us women do like our clothes and next have enough to suit any style, any shape and the majority of sizes. I am quit modern in what I like to wear so I particurarly like all of the new t-shirts they bring in which cost me about £9.99 each and then all of the spotty dresses £18.99 that they have recently added to the collection. I also love all of the swimwear that is about now for summer and have bought a great spotty bikini which looks great for £17.99. My Nan who likes to dress very classy and a tiny bit old fashioned loves the plain clothes they do and she had a fantastic blouse from there not too long ago which was £14.99 and just plain white with a few frills. My Mom who loves to dress a bit hippy loves going and getting all of the floaty Kimono style and Kaftans they have in there at the moment and she got a great blue one for about £20 at the weekend. Last but not least my sister who likes everything has recently had some white trousers from there and they were just £17.99 and look great. Although I have just mentioned all of the casual style clothes they do have a fantastic smart range which are great for the office. A typical suit may set you back about £100 but I managed to get a great skirt and jacket from there the other day in brown for £55.99. The fashions change as the seasons change but new stock does arrive all of the time so I pop in quite often to see what is about. At the moment you can find very bright colours and a lot of summer dresses which is lovely. The sizes they have in Next are from size 6 to 22 and in bras they have from 32A to a 38DD. Now usually in clothes shops the womans section is a great deal larger than the mens but not in Next as they have an impressive range for men ranging from casual to smart to swimwear. My fiancé is always in Next as he likes the way the clothes fit and they always have a good range to choose from. The most recent things he has bought from Next include a T-shirt for £14.99 and some really nice shorts which were £17.99 each for our holiday. The other thing that is fantastic about Next is that if you are after a suit guys then ask the staff to help as they were fantastic with us. Dave really wanted a specific style and they ended up spending half an hour with us trying to find the perfect fit. The suits are mad to look great and the price is just over £100 about so not too bad really. Men's clothes range from XS to XXL so you should find something to fit. The last of the clothes section is for children and I do not shop there that often but there are some fantastic styles to choose from for any age range. The range is from newborn up to 16 years and you can get whole baby sets for about £7. There are some sweet things to choose from if you need it. - Lingerie: This is one of my weaknesses as I love really pretty lingerie and Next have a great range from read more

Next clothes are great, they are very hard wearing and the prices are not too bad. They do lovely girls clothes and baby stuff. You can pick up some brill bargains if you have a good look. They also sell mens clothes which are very fashionable. Some of the next stores also sell homeware items but i find them a bit pricey. The shop is very well layed out and the rails are filled nicely read more

As one of my fave stores it does sadden me to have to write a negative review. But I have to be honest. Poor customer service is a particular 'bugbear' of mine and Next in Bullring consistently gets it wrong. On every occasion I visit this store, the queues on womenswear are extremely long and move slow, which for someone like me, who's always in a rush and on the go, is not a good thing. There never seems to be enough people to serve and those that do, move at a snails pace. On my most recent visit the staff were taking to each other while serving. THIS IS HAVE AN ISSUE WITH! I have worked in retail myself and would never do this. One member of staff was saying that she would pretend to ned the toilet so she could check her phone and see if the other member of staff had texted her. Then another signed off her till in spite of the large queue behind me and it seemed from the conversation they were having, that she was leaving early and didn't care! So while all this was going on the member of staff who was supposed to be serving me, did not even make eye contact. If it wasn't for the fact I like the clothing, I would not visit the store again. read more

I like shopping in Next it has clothes for all the family and the quality is good. I try to avoid the sales though as I find them to be far to stressful, however I always end up going in and usually by the second or third day and searching through the store for some bargains which I always find. The staff are helpful and friendly, have ordered things for me in sizes I wanted that they did not have in store at the time. They stock womens, mens and childrens clothes and accessories as well as products for the home. I bought a leather look bag here a few years ago and it lasted a long time before it started to look old and like it needed replacing even though it was used every day for months and months, so I would buy a bag from here in the future also. I also own a pair of boots which have lasted the last two winters. read more
