Review from my 8-year old: nice staff! The building looks old on the outside, but it looks very fancy on the inside. It has a great arcade! Everything was glowing! Rolled in here right as they opened at noon on a Saturday. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. They let us know about the special, which was two games, shoe rental, and 40 arcade credits for $21 per person. Very worth it and perfect combo, given kids' short attention span. Staff were so patient and helpful when we were trying to decide on what prizes to redeem, and also gave advice for event parking in city center. Very clean facilities (helps that we were the first ones there, but things felt very well maintained.) Hoping this more recent review helps boost the ratings on this place, and esp since it seems like bad reviews are from a while ago! We were close by and decided to come in to check it out and leave if it was really that terrible. It was seriously great! read more

Not many recent reviews so I wanted to add ours. I came here for the first time Saturday with my family and three family friends. I read the reviews before we went so I was kind of expecting rude service based on the old reviews. But - they were so nice! So many bowling attendants at other lanes seem jaded and crabby. Not this staff! They helped us pick the right size shoes and when I lost my phone they were super nice about it. Both were times that they could've rolled their eyes and made us feel stupid but they were so friendly and seemed actually happy to be there. They had more lanes than I expected, none of our party complained about any lane conditions, it's easy to find with plenty of out-front parking. Bathrooms are typical/average for a bowling alley. We were in and out for 2 games so I can't comment on the food or arcade but I'd definitely come back. read more

Every time I come in it seems that Pat hates his job and doesn't want to be there. Asked if we could use bumpers he said there's an age limit but a group of girls playing next to us had their bumpers on. Lamont the gentlemen that was helping with the shoes was very nice and respectful!! It was nice to play pool and bowl. Didn't try the food been there about three times and customers service is ok two of the times dealing with pat and another was a nice lady at the front. Would find another bowling alley but this one is pretty close to the house. read more

They were very unorganized when we walked in and tried to put us on two lanes that were already being used. They had to come and fix our lane probably 20 times during one game because the balls were getting stuck in the back and the pins weren't clearing. Bad experience. Probably won't come back. Bowlero is my neighborhood alley. I've been coming here regularly for years, yet almost every single time, my friends and I are treated like a nuisance. This is a problem considering you'll have to have them fix something at least twice a game. They spent money on a big dumb virtual reality machine to put in the empty arcade but could really use more staff, and better equipment. read more

The staff was very unfriendly. The first words from was the staff was you need to take your water bottle out to the car as no inside drinks or food is allowed. I understand the policy, but it could have been presented after we were greeted. it got worse. Then we could not reset our 2 lanes with different bowlers after our 2 families decided how to divide up teams. We bowled one game, ordered no food and left. I would definitely not return to this bowling alley as there are others in the area with more friendly service. read more

Went there for a birthday party and I brought a birthday cake and before I could get through the door the lady at the front counter told me to take it back outside. The best part about this is, they advertise about having birthday parties here. What is a birthday party without a cake? I could see if they sold cake but since it is not taking any business away from them so I did not see the harm. A successful business makes changes to bring in customers. read more

New ownership took over this place and they are not accepting any groupons! Plus, we went there and it was packed. So the lady at the counter did not even look at us. We were first in line and were standing there looking at her to talk to us but she would just not talk to us for 15 minutes. Rather she was attending other customers! This place is absolutely amazing! they spoil my daughter like a princess every time we've been there, they are so generous and amazing! The prices are great, they have been absolutely great every visit and we go back multiple times a week because we can't get enough of the place and the people! If you are questioning going her or not then don't. First off the lady at the counter was the rudest person that I have ever met. She basically didn't ask us what we wanted and just assumed. She never asked if I had a college card which gets it cheaper, I had to say that I did. I went there with my son and husband. I had a coupon from The Entertainment Book I bought from a local highschool. I showed it to the lady (older lady, very rude), and she said they wouldn't accept it. She told me that they switched owners and the new owner would not take aby coupons. She said the coupon has to read "Bowlero Lanes and Fun Center" . It did read that, and still after that she said no, so we ended up not using our coupon. The place is nice, and the bar area is nice, the food is good. The only complaint I had was the lady was super rude, and they wouldn't accept the coupon from a reputable place like the Entertainment book. The rest of the staff was great. Being treated like crap when you first walk into a business makes the rest of the experience unpleasant. The bathrooms could be better, they are gross. read more

We were here on Wednesday on a family trip. We got served by Chris which gave us an awesome service. He was very polite and courteous.

I will NEVER come back here. I wish I could give this place no stars. We paid for 2 games on 2 lanes (there were 6 of us). In the middle of our second game, both of our lanes shut off. I went up to the service desk to get our lanes working and CATHY the employee at the desk, proceeded to tell me that we paid for 12 games and we played all 12 games. I said no, we are on our 8th frame of our 2nd game, she said oh yeah, you have 2 more frames left. And then, for the next 2 frames every time someone bowled, our lane would shut down. We walked back and fourth to the service counter multiple times after each bowl to get our game rebooted just so we could finish out our game. As if that wasn't irritating enough, CATHY the not so friendly employee, rudely cut me off when I was trying to explain the situation each time. Then proceeded to tell me there is a phone to call instead of coming up to her, and then pointed behind her to the "no refund" sign. I never insisted that I wanted a refund, so that was rude. If a company wants business, then maybe they should train their employees how to treat the public. It was a simple fix to a simple problem, and could have been handled differently to satisfy us, the customers. As we were walking out, I told Cathy I was sorry that she hated her job, and walked out, apparently she didn't hear me and said to my friends whom were still there getting their shoes that I "didn't have the balls to say that to her face" which is very professional. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. I'm sitting in the "sports" bar listening to the jukebox, but not able to actually watch any sports. Of the 5 TVs in the bar, the only 1 that works is the Keno TV. The draft beer's ok, but not cold; and I refuse to pay $3 for a bud light bottle. I won't even mention how old and outdated the bathrooms look and smell! read more

Used to bowl here as a kid in travel league when it was Westland and always thought it was dirty and actually had my friends car got broken into. Now it is a complete 180! My niece had a birthday party at this establishment on Sat, 2.22.2014 at 5pm. The service in the bar area was terrible. The bartender made us Amaretto Sours that were not good, she put powdered sugar in them and when I tasted it I did not like it. She would not re-make the drinks or provide a refund. Very poor customer service. That experience was the worst that I have ever had at a bowling establishment. Very unbecoming of a business and I will not return there again. read more

i like coming to this place, but every time i come here at night i feel like i am being pushed out by the workers. the hours are not set. they close whenever they want and then act like you're bothering them if you come in 2 hours before close. I came here with 4 other people on thursday when they are supposed to have drink specials until 1am and they closed at 10 on their own accord. read more

I enjoy bowling here with my friends because it's close and I enjoy bowling it is a large place with many lanes to accommodate a large crowd. This is about the only positive thing I have to say about this place because otherwise it is absolutely appalling. The staff couldn't be less friendly if they tried and the staff for as well as the owners own child are known for stealing people money whether directly or by stealing peoples credit card information. Watch your card closely there if you go they will write down your information and attempt to buy Playstation games. Of course they deny any involvement just like the owner would probably deny physically threatening me last night as he was mad at me a paying customer because his son stole 20$ from him... it is not my prerogative if you are a terrible father but you are also a terrible business owner and that to me is unacceptable. So the whole "REMODEL" thing is a joke. The place sucks unfortunately. What really sucks is the smell. It smells like a hamster cage.
